Thanks to readers!

Thank you for the birthday greetings which so many of you sent.  Yet another year.  How quickly they pass.  I more and more resonate with the biblical image of the years of our lives passing as quickly as the shuttle of a loom.  At the end, the thread is cut.

Some of you have sent email asking if they can send me x, y, or z.  I appreciate the kindness.  If you really want to do something for me, I suggest that you get yourself something through the Mystic Monks in Wyoming (HERE) or through Cafe Press (HERE) or through Amazon using one of my links (see the side bar).  There is, of course, the infamous donation button and there are wishlists (see the sidebar).  And I am always grateful for your regular prayers for my intention.  Seriously.  I also appreciate it when people have Masses said for me.

I keep a list of everyone who sends something through one of the methods I mentioned above.  Periodically I say Mass for the intention of benefactors, which is my duty and pleasure.  Apart from keeping this blog going this is something that reaches out across the distances and knows no barriers.

Once again, thanks for the kind sentiments and greetings.
