Good thing I just ate or I’d be very hungry for Chinese right now. ;-)
Ad multos annos!
I am glad to say you manifest “charm and courtesy.”
Happy birthday, Father!
Happy birthday, Padre. May our Blessed Mother watch over you and keep you in her care.
Happy, blessed birthday dear Father….
A splendid birthday supper! And a fortune cookie from NcR to top it off. What a great day!!!
Happy Birthday, Fr. Z!
Happy Birthday, Father! I was going to say Dominus Vobiscum but realized that is the plural. How about a “simple” Latin class for us slow learners? Anyway, may the Lord, indeed, be with you and may our Lady Mary watch over you.

Happy Birthday Father :).
Happy Birthday Fr Z.!
The food looks great Father. Especially the “xio long bao.” Happy Birthday!!!!!
I think I see a recurring theme here on Fr. Z: Fr. Z …… loves ….. Chinese food ….. a lot.
Happy Birthday Fr. Z !
Happy Birthday!! Who knew fortune cookies were into sarcasm?? LOL!!
FWIW, I cook General Tsos and broccoli on a wok on my grill. Nothing finer….
About that fortune cookie – Wadever happened to almond cookies? I remember *good* almond cookies as rivaling toll house cookies.
Again, Happy B Day.
You have great taste in food, Fr. Z. Happy Birthday again!
Happy birthday Pater. May you live to be 100.
Happy Birthday, Father Z. Oooh, those dumplings…mmm.
But Father…you didn’t explain how to eat the juicy buns! I took your advice on a recent trip to St. Paul and went to the Tea House restaurant and was instructed on the proper technique. (For those who don’t know the technique…) First you puncture a bun and squeeze the juice into the white ladle/spoon at the top of the picture. You drink this like soup. Then you consume the remainder of the bun. A fun way to eat, and I’d bet children would have a field day trying this. Forgive me if I assumed that this technique was not common knowledge. Happy Birthday, Fr.!
A little late but Happy Birthday Father. Hope you had a wonderful day.
Nice food photograpy, Fr. Z. I see so many unappetizing food photos on websites for home cooks. It must not be as easy as one would think.
