Happy Birthday, Father! I was going to say Dominus Vobiscum but realized that is the plural. How about a “simple” Latin class for us slow learners? Anyway, may the Lord, indeed, be with you and may our Lady Mary watch over you.

About that fortune cookie – Wadever happened to almond cookies? I remember *good* almond cookies as rivaling toll house cookies.
    Again, Happy B Day.

But Father…you didn’t explain how to eat the juicy buns! I took your advice on a recent trip to St. Paul and went to the Tea House restaurant and was instructed on the proper technique. (For those who don’t know the technique…) First you puncture a bun and squeeze the juice into the white ladle/spoon at the top of the picture. You drink this like soup. Then you consume the remainder of the bun. A fun way to eat, and I’d bet children would have a field day trying this. Forgive me if I assumed that this technique was not common knowledge. Happy Birthday, Fr.!

  20. SKAY says:

A little late but Happy Birthday Father. Hope you had a wonderful day.

Nice food photograpy, Fr. Z. I see so many unappetizing food photos on websites for home cooks. It must not be as easy as one would think.
