The CD of Advent music by the Benedictine Nuns in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, is doing well on the charts.
I have mentioned them before HERE. I did a review of their Christmas CD HERE.
At Billboard it is #9 in Christian Albums and #6 in Classical Albums.
But on Billboard’s Top 200, …. LOOK!
Don’t let the sisters down. I have a soft-spot for ol’ Deano, but don’t let them be beaten by vermin.

Very good to see that the Catholic crooner Bing Crosby (aka Fr. O’Malley) has two albums in the top 200.
Please help!! I live in Colombia and would love to buy this album (download) but it is not available to non-US customers!?!?!?
Suggestions??
Father Z, I heard a song from this CD today while listening to Minnesota Public Radio (mpr) today. Performance today had an interview with the prioress (I think) and played O come Divine Messiah. You can listen to it here. http://performancetoday.publicradio.org/playlist.php
What if the Chipmunks released a chant album? From the chip-monks of Santo Domingo de Sciurus?
[I did not just read that.]
Already received my copy – Beautiful!
Got my two copies on Friday. The Sisters are in fine voice! Have suggested it to a few others, hope they bump up the sales!
I am listening to a lovely interview with the Benedictines of Mary on classical radio right this moment! We love the cd!
I can’t find a solution. I’d happily PayPal the money to someone in the US who could then email me the songs. These nuns deserve the sale but this bizarre Amazon policy is making it extremely difficult.
Who the heck would take Chipmunks over beautifully sung Chant?!?
@CatholicCaliGirl .. pretty much any parent buying for their child. I love the nuns’ album despite my legal inability to buy their album (but I digress). However my 8 year old would love the Chipmunks CD. Apples and oranges ..
Already have a copy. Listened to the CD while driving in afternoon rush-hour traffic to the airport. A great aid to calm and courteous driving in traffic (at least on my part). May save lives.
On the other hand, somewhere later in the day (airport? burger joint for dinner?) I had to listen to the chipmunks singing “Christmas Don’t be Late” (a.k.a. “The Hula Hoop Song”) over the local sound system. Groan. You would think that the song would have gone into oblivion some time since 1958.
Already ordered mine.
Wait, surely the St Louis Jesuits are selling more records than than the Gregorian chant! no doubt that Haugen and Haas are high on the chart too. The liturgists keep assuring us that nobody likes chant anymore, but that everyone loves the folkies. There must e something wrong with Billboards tracking system! ;)
Dear ‘jmvbxx’ write the Nuns directly, requesting their latest advent CD,,,sending them a 20 or 30 dollar cheque or bank/postal money order (as i did) to;
