   I was looking for one several years ago, but was blessed that my wife bought me a Spanish Latin Missal. From the 1920’s. I have to use it very gingerly.

   My relatives tell me that it was sort of rare in mexico ro have a hand Missal up to the 1920’s, and many were destroyed in the Cristero War. Then the reform came, and well….

   There is nothing in book form that is like the St. Edmund Campion Missal & Hymnal in Spanish; however, check out Una Voce Mexico: http://unavocemx.org/

   We’ve encountered this situation quite a bit at our cathedral parish, which has a large Hispanic congregation, & a smaller (but growing) TLM community. It’s virtually impossible to find a Spanish/Latin hand missal, short of getting a used one from Ebay. Some have had success with that. What we recommend is printing out individual Sunday Mass Propers from the UnaVoce Mexico website, & supplementing these with the Spanish/Latin booklets from the Ecclesia Dei Commission. (The latter can be purchased quite inexpensively from many church goods supply outlets, e.g., Leaflet Missal Company.) Buena Suerte!

   Short answer:
   No. I do not know of any Spanish language resource similar to the St. Edmund Campion Missal & Hymnal for the Traditional Latin Mass.

   Slightly longer answer:
   That being said, those who are persistent in the search – and have some facility in researching en Español – can find resources to assist congregations including Spanish-speaking faithful in praying and singing la Misa Tradicional.

   Juventutem Michigan is one apostolate that is persistent in the search. Latin-Spanish missalettes and worship aids were available (and were completely utilized!) at our Pontifical Requiem Mass at the 2013 March for Life (Fr. Z’s pictures); Latin-Spanish worship aids will be available at our Pontifical Mass next Friday at Detroit’s Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

   First of all, it is good to review the WDTPRS commenters’ responses from July 2011. Of the resources listed there, we have gotten the most value out of the Una Voce Mexico missalette: Huge PDF. We recommend that you do not use the Spanish language materials from the Coalition in Support of Ecclesia Dei as reviewers have told us that they come off as “clearly composed by gringos who are unfamiliar with traditional Spanish language prayers, etc.” The English language materials prepared by the Coalition are excellent and are employed at each Mass we gather for.

   Beautiful Mass aids for particular Masses can be acquired from Spain’s Fraternidad de Cristo Sacerdote y Santa Maria Reina.

   Traditional, Spanish language hymns can be a more difficult matter. All sorts of hymnals of dubiously composed Spanish songs exist. I can’t recommend any of the things we found online. In the end, Padre Romo FSSP directed us to seminarians in Denton who were able to direct me to a scan of an older, out-of-print, Spanish hymnal.

   For this or other things, please send specific questions to Juventutem Michigan and we’d be glad to share with you the resources that we have found. We believe it is important that Tridentine communities welcome all Catholics to pray together in the Latin tongue of Holy Mother Church, regardless of their languages of origin.

   Fr. Z: I don´t know exactly the quality of the St. Edmund Campion Missal & Hymnal for the Traditional Latin Mass, but we have here the Fr. Azcárate OSB “Misal Diario para América” Latín-Castellano.
   It was commonly used in my country and its beautifully printed and illustrated. A bit fragile, maybe.

   I received mine from my mother and is very dear for me. The year of edition is 1956.
   If you search for it in Google you may find tons of it for sale, and cheap, which is an accurate show of the shame we live in.

   I have a first edition Campion missal and find its just “too much’ book to easily handle in the pew.
   I prefer the Angelus Press missal. Perhaps a good set of ribbons would help.

   Sorry to digress from the thread. Keep checking Ebay for Latin/Spanish missals. They show up now and then.

    I find myself looking for one from time to time.

    I have come to the knowledge reading here and there that the last one in print was in Spain before 1962; that, when Joseph was made to be mentioned in the Canon that his name was literally written in, by hand, into the Canon.

    I could be entirely wrong…. I am not a knowledgeable man by any measure.

    Now, as to why one hasn’t been printed in like sixty years is anyone’s guess…. I am still wondering where they put my Patriarch and why they have left the West Indies sede vacante.

    The Misal Diario 1962 is quite elusive, perhaps because the largest Catholic publishers in Spain and Mexico were still recovering from persecutions earlier in the 20th century. Living in Texas, I’m interested in this missal as there are so many Hispanics that are now discovering the Latin Mass who would benefit from the Misal Diario 62.

    Fortunately, I see Biretta Press (St. John Cantius of Chicago) is slated to release a 1962 Misal Diario next month, for $63. The price indicates to me that it should be a regular size hand Missal. One problem – the description in Spanish indicates its a Latin-Ingles (English) missal so I’m not 100% certain. Maybe they incorrectly translated this description into Spanish. I contacted Biretta Press to inquire but the contact person (a priest) is away til month’s end. Check at this link next month and see what they say:
