The crazies are running the lunatic asylum….this is just plain disgusting.
Padre Pio didn’t refer to newspapers as The Devil’s Gospel for nothing.
I saw this trash, and didn’t read it. NYTimes is good for recipes, but that’s about it.
I have noticed also on TV an occasional coverage of pornographers as if they were just another reputable segment of cinematography.
Front page is excessive for anybody who is not a major public figure, but having read the obit, I can’t say it puts him in a positive light. In some ways it is worthwhile to see the complete destruction of the individual that his supposed “calling” produces.
Another column about him in the “City Room” section describes one of his episodes as a “mini-epic of elegiac narcissism,” and that is surely true.
Lord, Have mercy,
Christ, Have mercy,
Lord, graciously hear us.
For those victimized (exploited) by this man, protect them and heal them.
For all those men and women who suffer from addiction to porn, free them from the addiction.
May this man cause no further harm to our society.
Have mercy on his pitiful soul.
Mike NYTimes is good for recipes, but that’s about it.
Don’t forget Will Shortz.
Just took a bath prior to reading the article. I think I need another one now.
Today, Canada’s Supreme Court struck down their nation’s anti-prostitution laws in defense of women’s rights to pursue their own happiness, safe solicitation, and the right to obtain a stable, safe income/living. Liberals are nuts.
The link is here:http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2013/12/20/canada-anti-prostitution/4142685/
The world is going mad. Liberals have absolutely no idea about the fundamental nature of human rights.
Ironically, the Left’s obsession with sexual “liberation,” sex equality, and gender deconstruction are what keeps humankind base, primal, and enslaved to instinct and sexual appetite; hence, women remain oppressed, objectified, and exploited.
I’ll pray for his soul, but I’m not mourning.
Given that faithful Christians are woefully outnumbered and thus have no political power, the only way to engage in the “culture war” is to stay true to the Church. If it becomes illegal to be a Christian, let there be plenty of evidence to convict you.
Meanwhile, there is nothing we can do to change the laws favored by heathens, such as letting Al Goldstein publish his filth.
