NYC: 7 Oct -Benefit for Benedictine Monks of Norcia

The Benedictine Monks of Norcia are doing wonderful things.  They put sermons and singing of the hours online.  They have a great Gregorian chant disc.  They make exquisite beer.  They have helped the town of Norcia revive.

There will be a benefit for the monks in New York City on 7 October. HERE

Please join us on October 7, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, as we visit with some friends in Manhattan. This fundraiser is presented by The Lumen Christi Association of New York: Pro Fide et Cultura, an organization devoted to the exploration and dissemination of cultural thinking in general and the restoration of Christian culture in particular.

Catholic Author and Op-Ed Columnist for the New York Times, Ross Douthat, will be the keynote speaker, with a talk entitled: “Religion and the Fate of the West: Being Catholic in a Secular Age.”

Fr. Cassian will also share his thoughts on “Monastic Life in Norcia and the Restoration of Christendom – Worship, Work, and Art.” To RSVP or get more information, visit lumenchristiny.com.
