When I am home from college, I attend St. Stanislaus. I will be one of the servers for this Mass.
According to some conversations I have had with Fraternity priests, stemming finally from the district superior, Bishop Libasci is the single most supportive Ordinary with whom the Fraternity has ever worked (with the possible exception of the Lincoln, NE ordinaries). We are all very grateful for him.
Logistically, for the event itself, since the Church is on the small side and there is not a lot of parking (which will be even more reduced due to the recent Nor’easter), I highly recommend getting there as early as possible.
[Thanks for using the term “Nor’easter rather than this new term that’s going around.]
Bishop Libasci is formerly from my diocese. He has the character and profile that anyone would hope for in an ordinary. In addition to being a solid, orthodox teacher and preacher, he is kind, patient and very pastoral. He is simply, a lovely person.
God bless him.

As a follow-up, the Mass was a smashing success. The Church was full to bursting. Half of the diocese’s seminarians were there, as well as many Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulcher. The bishop preached wonderfully on the spiritual life as it relates to the early life of our Lord (Nativity, Finding in the Temple, Purification, and of course Epiphany were all mentioned and elaborated upon) also tying in a layer of the meaning of the procession of the bishop in his traveling clothes and vesting in the sanctuary, in the sight of all. I expect that the parish will send pictures to NLM sometime in the next few days.
