Cool. Now that I know this, I have a football team to root for.
Wow. Everything in that was fabulous. It was wonderful to see that he cares about what’s really important: praying to be a good husband and father, but not praying to win the Super Bowl. Thank you for posting, Father.
Thanks Father, I really enjoyed that.
“praying to be a good husband and father, but not praying to win the Super Bowl”. Yep, that bit got me too. It took me many decades to realise what this young man knows already and more.
Wonderful story, Father. Time and time again, it is proven how the timeless beauty of the Catholic Faith, which is so vividly illustrated in the Latin Mass, draws thirsty souls to Christ. It is tragic how so many prelates want to put (or keep) the TLM in mothballs, rather than get off their duff and learn to say the Mass of All Time, which has nourished the souls of so many through the centuries. May God bless Harrison Butker and his family. Thank you for posting this, Father. God bless you. +JMJ+
Oh, to be that age and know what he knows already. All the mistakes you might avoid, the people you could help.
What a beautiful young man and family. That was a very nice story.
He’s also a really good kicker.
