In the chess puzzle, better do something quick before Black checkmates in one move. I think Nf6+ followed by Qh7#

The top photo really looks like the Mississippi over by Wyalusing.

    The chessboard.

    The Baptismal Font?
    Or the Chess board.

The other two are both Wisconsin, I believe

I believe the picture showing the intersection of US 14 and US 61 is very close to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe S/SE of LaCrosse, WI.

On the basis that it’s a trick, or is it a double-bluff? the first one could well be the hills of the Tiber Park, the far hills are sort of right, though the banks don’t look steep enough, and it looks very wide. The marble tablet looks rather northern, but could simply be 19th century in somewhere like S Paul without the Walls. I’ll go for the Tiber!

What’s the bet that the one with the signs is Rome, Idaho or something?

  9. Fr. Reader says:

    Winona Minnesota?
