Thanks are due to you - UPDATE
Please accept, O WDTPRSers, both active and lurking, my gratitude for what you have been doing lately.
First, your support has helped WDTPRS be the front runner for two blog awards. In the 2007 Weblog Awards we did respectably well. The voting is closed as of 8 November. We are also doing well in the ongoing 2008 Blogger’s Choice Awards, even after the oddities that took place. Your support helps put Catholic blogs in the spotlight and provides benchmarks which help WDTPRS remain on solid footing.
Second, several people have lately used the donation button, either on the left side bar or on the audio project pages. Thanks very much. Since I pretty much have to support most of what I do by writing, your help is very welcome.
Also, many thanks to the kind soul, MF of CA who sent me a copy of Tertullian, Cyprian & Origen On The Lord’s Prayer from my Amazon wish list. As a matter of fact, I received several nice things via the list recently, which sure brightened up my days!
I add here many thanks to JH of MN who sent me a copy of Boniface Ramsey’s Ambrose, a very good and useful book! It arrived today as a lovely surprise!
On Friday, 9 November, the Feast of the Dedication of St. John Lateran, I will bring a list of recent donors with me to the altar and happily remember you at the Memento (of the living!).
On Friday, I’ll be saying Mass at 1100 EST - (1800 CET - Rome)

Welcome to another installment of What Does the Prayer Really Sound Like?
