We are gathered for the blognic. Sadly we did not get a special room and we are competing with the crowd for a Lady Gaga concert. Lots of people have come!

Some better than iPhone photos…

“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

I’d rather meet Fr. Z than Lady Gaga any day!
Now I’m in the US (Marquette, MI), might be able to make some of these.
Gaga over WDTPRS and Z! Now that’s better.
Wish I could be there for the Fr Z -alapalooza
Enjoy!
:)
I will be able to post some photos later.
All in all I think we had about 25 people. At the end there were still 16 people.
Everyone was great!
I just wish it hadn’t started with so much noise.
The did NOT have a room for us as we had requested.
Someone had called earlier to get a room.
But the manager… well…
I’m glad you all had a great time. Maybe someday ….
I’m with Dr. Eric-I’d rather meet Fr. Z over Lady (?) Gaga anyday!
Oh, I’d love to come to a blognic……..if only it were closer….
Thank you for celebrating mass last night Father, as well for joining us for a wonderful blognic – despite the early chaos.
Here’s some additional pictures from mass and the gathering:

I would think that one would be able to tell the difference in the crowds from the pictures, but…maybe orthodox Catholics are more hip than is generally assumed. :)
Wish I could have been there. :( A long way from Idaho.
cregduff, Thank you for posting the pictures. What a beautiful Church. Loved seeing the pictures of the Holy Mass and of the partakers at the blognic. Maybe one of these days..
Thank you again.
