London Blognic UNDERWAY

We have had about 30 people in and out.

His Hermeneuticalness has his summation HERE with a couple nice photos to boot, including the undersigned and the great Fr. Ray Blake.

It was great fun.

  1. And here am I just up the road missing it all.
If I didn’t have small children to soundly beat I would have joined you.

  2. Rosevean says:

    I hope you’re all having a great time :o)

  3. MJ says:

    Looks like fun!!

  4. Frank H says:

Wonder if the progressive types have such fun?

  5. RichR says:

    Neat!

So, do people just mingle or is there some type of expectation for FrZ to talk a little? Is there a theme for the evening? Just curious.

If FrZ ever gets back to Texas, I plan to go to a blognic.

Looks fun, I’m jealous! Wish I could get to England, but with three kids four and under, not in the cards. I can dream about when the last one, when ever that is, leaves the house and the Mrs. and I can do this.

Is it too early to start packing?

  7. EoinOBolguidhir says:

    His Hermeneuticalness! Hooray!

  8. frobuaidhe says:

    @ Frank H

I doubt it. “Progressives”, like liturgists, are the men who know no songs.

  9. cblanch says:

Wow! Looks like so much fun!!

  10. Laura R. says:

The pictures almost make me feel like I’m in London! Though I can’t actually be there, I’m consoled because the choirboys from Westminster Cathedral are in town and are giving a concert at my parish tonight. It should be wonderful!

  11. Supertradmum says:

Sorry not to be there. Ale, food, atmosphere, and people look great. I am on the coast of Kent, near the White Cliffs of Dover. Much rather be with you all!

  12. thereseb says:

It was great – and only broke up about 11 (or so I think – I left at 10 to)- though the priests had sensibly left earlier.

  13. pattif says:

Superb evening – great to see Frs Z, Tim and Ray, survivors from the 2009 blognic, a couple of people from my parish and bloggers who now have faces as well as names. Here’s to the next time….

  14. It was a great time! We missed some of the other folks who joined us at previous blognics, of course. It is always a great pleasure to seek everyone and meet people who participate. Thanks to everyone!

  15. kittenchan says:

Ah! If only you could come down to visit your unofficial fan club here in Arizona…

  16. irishgirl says:

Looks like a great time was had by all over there in London! That photo of the pub food is making me hungry, however!
I echo what kittenchan said, only I would substitute ‘Upstate NY’ for Arizona…..sure wish you could come here, Father Z!

  17. chiners says:

Sorry that London is not within day trip distance, but pleased to see from the photos that there was family representation!
