I voted on this poll earlier today before it closed. I was surprised by how many no votes there were.
One wonders if Fr. Z should start linking people indirectly to polls instead of the normal method.

Why would a majority of the French readers of Le Figaro vote “oui”? The vast majority of France is pagan, non-Catholic or apostate. Hiding the symptom will not effect the cure.

I don’t like the tone of the question itself. “Do you approve of THE WISH/DESIRE of Benedict XVI to beatify Pius XII?”
It A) Shows a profound misunderstanding regarding the nature of beatification/canonization and B) Disparages the actions of the Holy Father in democratic terms. This is like a poll on whether the Pope should recognize officially the sky as blue, and his ‘desire’ to do so. It’s semantic and silly, and shows that whoever came up with it fundamentally misunderstands the nature of these pontifical pronouncements.
Looks like it was only open long enough for them to get the results they wanted.
