The Tait!
Bishop Paprocki of Springfield, Illinois, will offer a Pontifical High Mass at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Quincy, Illinois, on Sunday the 27th (for the Feast of St. Rose of Lima). That is an FSSP parish with the delightful Fr Arnaud Devillers as their pastor.
Is this supposed to say , “Pontifical Mass for the Immaculate Heart”?
I see in the last photo that you had Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulchere in attendance at this Mass.

Pontifical Mass for Immaculate Conception???? On 22nd August????
I pray that God will inspire one of our priests here to do the extraordinary form. I love it, but there seems to be no interest, or rather, the interest that has been here has been squashed.
Or even better, it would be so cool if our youth group visited an extraordinary form and started bothering our priests asking for it. I wouldn’t find if the 5:30 Sunday Mass was extraordinary form.
The Mass ought to be beautiful, not merely pragmatic.
The Tridentine Mass is beautiful, and we laity are so benefited and better able to focus on the spiritual reality when it is prayed in an equally inspiring church and accompanied by music fitting the occasion.
