Last night Tucker Carlson had another segment on in his series about what’s going on with the situation of men in these USA. This is sobering stuff. We need a wide national dialogue about this. We need to talk about it in the Church as well, especially since there are horrid movements of world-conformed homosexualism going on.

There’s a certain group of men quite capable of being men but who have basically taken advantage of the idea of women working who now sit back and let their wives take on “male” duties in addition to their own responsibilities. They’re devoted to their video games and tv shows. That’s time grandfather devoted to a second job so grandma could stay home (which was a source of pride). But men don’t have to do that now because women CAN work.
I’m grateful to Tucker Carlson for discussing this. This is one of those issues I can hardly even talk about, it is so upsetting. Just another indicator of how insane our world is now. What gate in hell opened up and let all these seriously crazy people out.
When the US of A is invaded, they’ll sit on their duffs, or worse, surrender. It’ll be up to us OWM to save the day!
That’s just it Kathleen. No gate in hell opened up and let all these people out but those same gates sure are wide open waiting for them to enter! Perhaps less talking is best and more praying and fasting better. I speak first for myself. God help us all. This is only the tip of the iceberg that we see.

I wonder if he has changed his views about same-sex marriage. He’s on the record for supporting it. Which means he supports fatherless families (aka, lesbian marriage and parenting). So which is it? Does he support fatherless families, or not?

The last paragraph from T.S. Eliot’s “Thoughts After Lambeth”:
“The World is trying the experiment of attempting to form a civilized but non-Christian mentality. The experiment will fail; but we must be very patient in awaiting its collapse; meanwhile redeeming the time: so that the Faith may be preserved alive through the dark ages before us; to renew and rebuild civilization, and save the World from suicide.”
One hopes Mr. Carlson’s reporting will eventually identify the culprit.
“We need a wide national dialogue about this.” Unfortunately that is not likely to happen soon, for as Tucker Carlson said- one party basically remains in office due to the votes they get from the single mothers and the unmarried. They also believe strongly in having people dependent on the government rather than being independent. They have a vested interest in preserving the status quo.
It’s ironic that the Liberal Left elite all grew up in stable 2 parent families yet advocate this. It’s analogous to the people living in gated communities that advocate removing access to guns for other people.
Yes men need to stand up and especially for their sons. And Donald Trump for his bluster is a terrible representative of responsibility. Cheating on wives with porn actresses, joking about grabbing you know what…vile and disguisting. I don’t want to turn this into anything political because I have the same contempt for Bill and not a fan of his wife either.
Say what you will about Barack Obama – he was a devoted father to his daughters. I was also impressed with Mitt Romney as a model of male fatherliness. Also Martin Sheen and how he handled his son’s addiction was compassionate and strong.
So remember the issue when it comes to manhood and fatherhood is not left-right – it is moral character
