Pingback: Marvelous piece about the Benedictine nuns at Gower Abbey and their new chant recording – Via Nova Media
These nuns are wonderful. Their website sells sheet-music, in addition to the CDs, and it is glorious to try ‘singing along’ with some of the pieces. What a blessing. This last CD includes a song with lyrics by Sister Wilhelmina, their foundress, a woman whose biography reads like a devotional. Deo gratias!

Thank you for the link: what an inviting lot of the Year they have uploaded, there, Offices as well as Masses, from the Annunciation through the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost (so far)!
Pingback: TVESDAY EDITION – Big Pulpit
At first I groaned to see a sad face staring at me where the embedded video should be:
“Aaargh! Vimeo! What was wrong with YouTube?” (Vimeo is blocked where I live.)
But all ended happily. I found the sisters’ YouTube channel and listened to some of their videos (watching the pre-video ads all the way through, of course).
Thanks for alerting me to the existence of this beautiful choir.
If I may be so bold the young lady from Vermont, mentioned going to Ava, MO, is from my parish and her gofundme page is here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-aulani-enter-religious-life?qid=aac9f25da5b00adc84311b757d983e51
She discerned her vocation while at Franciscan University and comes from a very strong Catholic family. She apparently has met most of her goal but just in case.
Very nice.
