For those of you in the area:
The Northwest Catholic Men’s Conference will take place in Pendleton, Oregon, on February 25 and 26, featuring His Eminence Cardinal Raymond L. Burke as principal celebrant of Masses on both days. The Cardinal will also lead Stations of the Cross on Friday evening. Other speakers include Bishop Robert Vasa, Fr. Bailey Clemens of St. Mary’s in Pendleton, and Doug Barry, Founder of Radix and Co-host on EWTN. Opportunities for Confession and Adoration will be available throughout the weekend. Music for the liturgies and stations will be provided by the Wyoming Catholic College Choir under the direction of Dr. Peter Kwasniewski. There are still openings for men who wish to participate in this spiritually galvanizing event!

Sounds like a great conference!
My father is going to be there!!! My mom has joked about going in disguise…she had better not
Will the Masses be Novus Ordo or Traditional?
We are advertising this at my parish- usually it’s a NO Mass.

Since Pendleton (home of the world famous 101 year old Pendleton Roundup rodeo–yep that’s a commercial message!) is 90 miles from where I live I will be attending and am very much looking forward to it. Until his recent appointment to the Diocese of Santa Rosa Bp Vasa was my Bishop and of course the opportunity to attend a Card Burke liturgy is one that cannot be passed up. One of the layers of icing on the cake is the Wyoming Catholic College Choir (or in this case schola). We visited WYCC early in its existance and have been supporters every since due to its orthodoxy. I would really encourage any men who can find their way to Pendleton a week from tomorrow to attend.
Last comment–Fr. Bailey Clemens the pastor of St. Mary’s in Pendleton has done some very good things. That beautiful, historic church has been “restored” complete with communion rail and it does NOT have altar girls anymore.
It is an inspiring conference. I attended a couple of years ago. Knees on the floor for hours. Go if you can.
I’ve heard great things about all three men featured at the Conference. The Cardinal, Bishop, and Priest are some of our heavy hitters in the Church. Glad they’re on our side.
Well advertised in my parish which is a surprise. Great speakers and I’m glad to see more men’s conferences.
EXCHIEF: I am 80 miles away on the other side of the river.
