“Dad, how do you like that iPad we bought you?”

You don’t need to know German to enjoy this. All you need to know going into it is:

“Dad, how do you like that iPad we bought you?”

I promise you, if one of you sends me the new iPad, I’ll take good care of it!

No, it non-removable battery no longer holds a charge so he had $700 cutting board now. They had the same thing when iPods came out and quit holding their charge and were converted into $500 paper weights.

What I find interesting – not being an apple hater, but being a rather cold apple agnostic – is the number of videos entitled “iPad Zerstoren” or “Does it Blend”.

Seems to me that there are a great number of individuals out there with a psychic need to brutalize iDevices. Perhaps if Freud were still with us he could say “What do these geeks want? What do they want?!”

  9. Paulus says:

APX – Bah. I have a first generation iPad. In fact I’m writing this comment with it. I use it every day. Have since I received it. I still get seven or eight hours of use out of a charge, easy. And $500 for an iPod? Really?
