One vote, every day…
It’s unexpectedly entertaining to just sit back and watch this blog, sometimes. So much happening, so many fervently concerned folks. What a good feeling.
I voted for you just now, Domine. May many others follow.
Father, you are doing a great job with the Z-Cams! I can’t wait until it’s all sorted out (I miss the music today!).
PS- I’ve voted for your blog everyday so far!
It appeared that you had begun that work last night during the chat. I hope it can be brought to fulfillment!
I hope everything turns out ok. In the meantime, I guess this will have to do for an update. CB denotes the Catholic Blogs

When it comes to reconfiguring your office, experience has taught me to go slow and don’t rush– do it right.
Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Good news: Standing On My Head is a Catholic blog too, written by Fr. Dwight Longenecker.

You’re cleaning up, Father!
“Destruction and Reconstruction Day” – For a moment I thought we were commemorating the anniversary of the novus ordo!
Oh Gad, I hate that job, what a nightmare, good luck and don’t get buried, send up a flare if you start to go under,
I’ll pray for your safety ;>
Always fun pulling computer equipment wire all around
Just did that in my study over Christmas break, it’s amazing how things build up and get mis-placed since the last overhaul ( ~ every 6mos.)
Good luck with that Father. What a pain. Reminds me – would you have a word with my husband please? That geek has stuff all over the house – wireless speakers, a network room in the basement, I even have two computers… drawers and boxes of wires all over. HELP ME.
Not that I have anything to do with this whatsoever [ahem.]
I was watching the History Channel’s series on the 7 deadly sins [with a few reservation, HEY its pretty good!!!] I was reminded that Greed/avarice is the root of HOARDING. hmmmmm. uh. oh. I immediately started cleaning out some cabinets. The show mentioned that hoarding involves ‘fear of the future’. oh how true.
“Destruction and Reconstruction Day”
I was in the comments section of another thread, just saw this title show up under “Recent Posts”, and assumed it would be a post on the renovation of churches that occurred during the Great Leap Forward. But then a quick scan — not for sense but only for individual words — showed no mention of jackhammers or statues thrown out back, and I realized it was something more mundane.
And here that title made me think that Fr Z turned into a modernist Scripture Scholar with all that destruction and reconstruction going on. But I’m sure his classical and Patristic background wouldn’t afford him that horror.
Tonight I clocked in at 1304.
just had a great idea, how about turning the cam around and let us watch you reconfigure your office, bet “we” could be a lot of help, remember to leave the mike on ;>
hoping that everything gets works out in time for another chat this evening!

Yes, yes !
Yea Father, turn the cam on so we can watch you do the reconfiguration. We’ll give you advice. How else will you know all the stuff you could be doing better?? We know how much you like advice from us laymen. hee hee.
Wonderful to see the Catholic Blogs doing well! You especially Father!
Hopefully the day did not entail too many dust bunnies and too much sneezing. Such days alway make me hungry for spaghetti.
Well… at least while you’re doing that, you’re not shooting squirrels.
Hopefully the Holy Pontiff has taken to task as well!
Pretty sure that was a mispelling in Ambrose’ post. (In addition to redocorating and lilbit.) Shall we conclude an “innocent” slip? (http://www.dwightlongenecker.com/).
Getting worried about this voting thing – happily doing my once in 24 hours, but three computers etc!!!??? Like it’s not an American Presidential election??? Thank you for the blog.
You will reap the benefits of fixing up your office. I am waiting for my husband to do the same with our home office.
birdcam looked very good today….. And chapel cam is much better too.
Cleaning up office…. I hope you did enjoy your “Day of Penance”!
Will vote for you again. Thanks for the chat room, it was a good experience last night to chat with a number of good Catholics on-line and to see you talking live. God bless.
Folks: I think it is okay to vote just once a day. But you can vote once every 24 hours, according to the rules established.
