A moment of prayer – Vespers, and requests

May I ask to you stop, right now, and say a prayer for anyone who has asked your for prayers or anyone for whom you have promised to pray?

I include all those who have written with health concerns, especially.  Perhaps a Memorare?

Here is a reading of vespers, with no frills.

Also, I am remembering in prayer all benefactors, those who have been so very kind lately.

I ask a prayer for myself, and for two important intentions one of which I believe will be solved at this point by fasting, almsgiving, and prayer.

What translation do you use, Father?

[I don’t use a translation, friend. I say the office in Latin. I have, however, an American set of the Liturgy of the Hours and an Italian set. I don’t use them. Correction: the American I use once a year when I met up with a group of priests during the summer for an annual gathering.]
