Thanks to readers

Thanks are in order.

After my post about an anticipted attack piece in NCR, many people sent kind notes and assurances of prayers.  Many people sent donations, too.  When people send something from my wish list or drop a donation into the jar in front of my soap box, I note down their names and pray for them, as it is fitting to do for benefactors.  Occasionally I say Mass for the intention of benefactors.  The next time will be next Wednesday.

I will include (as of this writing):

LW, MW, KW, JC, TB x2, MJ, WH, LE,
EO’R, SA, EC Jr, MK, MF, HE, AR, KK,
RB, JB, DK, JK, JMJ,LO, C’sC, ER,
AT, JEM, ED, SPW, NV, CR, LL, Fr. PdM,
CM, RC, DN, TH, K&S McC, RL, QJ, AIG, MH,
JB, LE, EK, MW, AV, GJ, LF, JG, EK, ML,
CL, HM, AN, JL, CG, JD, AZ, PP, KS, Fr. LT,
Fr. SdS, SC, LFS, MR, MO’N, NM, JMcG,
JB, TDS, RB, RS, SEE, CS, KA

I think that is all of you.  I try to write a thank you note to people who send donations.  Alas, a few of my emails have been kicked back to me.  If I missed you, by my own fault, know that I’ll include anyone and everyone in my intention.  My guardian angel will sort it out.

Also, a kind soul, also in the list above, sent me some perciatelli (sort of like bucatini).  Not great for my waistline, but a great boost for the spirits.  Another person sent San Marzano tomatoes.  I don’t know who you are, since there was no packing slip, but thank you very much.  When I was up on the North Shore of Lake Superior with a group of priests, I used some of the pasta and tomatoes people had sent to feed the gang.

I am immensely grateful to the people who have sent notes of good will and prayerful best wishes.  It means a lot to me.
