BENEDICT XVI’S PRAYER INTENTIONS FOR OCTOBER
VATICAN CITY, 30 SEP 2011 (VIS) – Pope Benedict’s general prayer intention for October is: “That the terminally ill may be supported by their faith in God and the love of their brothers and sisters”.
His mission intention is: “That the celebration of World Mission Day may foster in the People of God a passion for evangelisation with the willingness to support the missions with prayer and economic aid for the poorest Churches”.
An excellent prayer intention for RIGHT NOW is Christian Iranian Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani. His death sentence has been upheld by the courts of Iran for his supposed apostasy from Islam; though this Christian claims he was never a Muslim. I sometimes despair when I encounter Catholics (or perhaps Katholics Lite) who refuse to read and learn about the religion of pieces and what it really teaches. What Iran is doing is NOT an aberration; it is based in the same Sharia Law that their “prophet” handed down. Please pray for this brave man who refuses to renounce Christ and then pray for those Christians in the West who are so steeped in PC, they would rather not “offend” Muslims even if an innocent man must die.
