Beautiful. What a sign of God’s presence and goodness!
I’m here to tell you that little babies are very aware in the womb.
My husband used to send Morse code to our daughter in utero by thumping on my tummy (he can copy at 30wpm and send at 20, but he slowed down for her benefit). After awhile she started imitating him, although we never could get good copy :-D
She passed her Amateur Radio exam on the first try, back when code was still required, at age 8.

Cool.
Yay!!! Congrats to the Baby!!!
More people need to hear this story!!! I will spread the word!!!
My hubby and I played a lot of music for our Little Tiger before birth and the baby would turn and look toward the speakers when pieces from that recording were played. This child was a bit slow learning to speak because all the first efforts were toward singing rather than speaking. Listening to the ear begin to gain control of the voice was a lot of fun. This kid mimics amazingly, I used to get freaked trying to figure out where the siren was coming from until I realized that the perfectly reproduced ambulance siren was coming from the carseat!
This baby also would bump back when my hubby tapped. I loved that part of the pregnancy.
Every kid is so different, my first loved country and classical but HATED rock and would kick my insides until I changed the music if I put rock on– this kid loves to whistle.
My second always got excited at group singing like at Church– would do somersaults that were visible through my clothing– I loved seeing people’s eyes bug out– and this kid plays keyboard, pan-pipes and composes.
I’m expecting a fourth. This one is different again. Strong, but less violent in motion than previous kids. Inclined to listen quietly to the music, no apparent preferences there. A bit of a mystery this one!
I have gotten to know a bit about each child during the pregnancies and it seems to me they all come with a basic style of personality and it grows and develops after birth in response to environment and experience. Its so cool to watch them grow!
This is awesome!
Oh my goodness-this IS Too Cool, indeed!
I have never felt an unborn baby ‘kick’ whenever I touch an expectant mother’s tummy (with her permission, of course-that’s obvious!).
