Saw the movie; it was excellent. It is also a great lesson in what happens when tyranny breaks out, as it is doing here and now.
Quite appropriate since we celebrate on May 21st the memorial of Saint Cristobal Magallanes and Companion Martyrs of Mexico. ¡Viva Cristo Rey!
Great movie. Loved it. Some characters were blended into one but basically stuck to history.
There’s one out too: Father Pro (Pbro. Miguel Agustin Pro/Ignatius Press) Another great movie.
also,Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo.
Another Mexican Holiday.
Another Independence day for Mexico. (secular holiday).
I’ve met great Mexicans; at least we don’t have Islamist radicals invading our borders. I prefer Peruvian coffee myself, however!
But the best coffee on earth, of course, is from the Blue Mountain region of Jamaica!
Living in Australia, as I do, I cannot buy your Mystic Monk coffee. If I tried to import it, it would probably be confiscated by our Customs people. We have very strict controls on the importation of foodstufs and I must say that I am completely in favour of these controls. They keep out many undesireable diseases which could attack our plants.
I do own the movie “For Greater Glory” and I have passed it around friends of mine. I find it very inspiring.
