“He [Satan] will set up a counter-Church which will be the ape of the Church because, he the devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the anti-Christ that will in all externals resemble the mystical body of Christ. In desperate need for God, whom he nevertheless refuses to adore, modern man in his loneliness and frustration will hunger more and more for membership in a community that will give him enlargement of purpose, but at the cost of losing himself in some vague collectivity.”
“Who is going to save our Church? Not our bishops, not our priests and religious. It is up to you, the people. You have the minds, the eyes, and the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that your priests act like priests, your bishops act like bishops.”
- Fulton Sheen

A monthly subscription donation means I have steady income I can plan on. I put you my list of benefactors for whom I pray and for whom I often say Holy Mass.
In view of the rapidly changing challenges I now face, I would like to add more $10/month subscribers. Will you please help?

"But if, in any layman who is indeed imbued with literature, ignorance of the Latin language, which we can truly call the 'catholic' language, indicates a certain sluggishness in his love toward the Church, how much more fitting it is that each and every cleric should be adequately practiced and skilled in that language!" - Pius XI
"Let us realize that this remark of Cicero (Brutus 37, 140) can be in a certain way referred to [young lay people]: 'It is not so much a matter of distinction to know Latin as it is disgraceful not to know it.'" - St. John Paul II
Grant unto thy Church, we beseech Thee, O merciful God, that She, being gathered together by the Holy Ghost, may be in no wise troubled by attack from her foes. O God, who by sin art offended and by penance pacified, mercifully regard the prayers of Thy people making supplication unto Thee, and turn away the scourges of Thine anger which we deserve for our sins. Almighty and Everlasting God, in whose Hand are the power and the government of every realm: look down upon and help the Christian people that the heathen nations who trust in the fierceness of their own might may be crushed by the power of thine Arm. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. R. Amen.

Are we voting? Is this a bit of democratic goodness? ‘Cause if it is, I am punching the chad for #4.

Joe: Let me get a pack of images together, then maybe we can have a little vote.
Surely Vincenzo will come up with something also!
O Dearest Lord, by the prayers of the Mother of God grant me that tee-shirt! I *NEED* to wear it around campus at Franciscan University, and it’s pretty much the coolest thing ever! Please don’t respond by saying that I shouldn’t have any attachments to creatures. Maybe just this one little creature…

I want that black T-Shirt, I simply love it.
I agree with Brian Crane, the Official Photoshopper of WDTPRS, Vincenzo, should
have an entry.
Vincenzo may be offline. He tends to post late in the day/evening our time.
I like #3 the best. #4 looks ok, but the graphic is a little unclear from where I sit, whereas if you wore a t-shirt with #3 one it, no one would have to stare and wonder what the heck that thing was on your shirt.
I really like the last one, but I think you should also consider making t-shirts. :)
I am not sure whether this thought is of interest to anyone else, but while I was enjoying these images, something occurred to me. If I had seen these graphics twenty years ago with no knowledge of the context, I would have been unable to think of anything else for a week due to the excitement. The promise of reverence at Mass + something called Summorum Pontificum with a future date = overwhelming joy. At the midpoint of forty years in the desert — if a forty-one-year-old may be allowed a little hyperbole — so much seemed so grim.
Thank you, Holy Father!
This is still probably too busy, but it never hurts to have more prints to choose from….

If these are the choices – #3 and #4 get my vote. While I admire the late Cardinal Lustiger for several different reasons, his liturgical preferences are NOT among them – and I say that with the utmost respect to his memory.
I like the black t-shirt—number 4.
Sorry I didn’t intend to vote/post twice. When I hit the submit button the screen froze up for a while and I didn’t think it was going to send.
Democracy? Voting? Aren’t things bad enough in the Church already?
Just wait – soon the modernists will ban incense on health grounds. Apparently it’s carcinogenic:

I’ve already spotted an incense health warning for an American parish:

Remember – fire may be the best test of heresy, but smoke is pretty good too.
Nice designs – I like the T-shirt one best, but that may be because it is on a T-shirt. I definitely WANT a T-shirt for this event. So comfy for wearing while washing altar linens and polishing chalices …
My preference is for #3, and I agree with JaneC: it is simplest and clearest.

I agree that the drawn ones are more effective for a t-shirt or mug. But the incense still needs to be set in the context of the Mass (which the photographs do).
I can’t draw, but for someone who can what about drawing a priest at the elevation (facing the correct way, like the logo of the Latin Mass Society – see top left corner on http://www.latin-mass-society.org/), with an angel on either side raising a smoking thurifer?
Just a note as designer of #4; the image I used was a small file. I would search for a better quality image if this actually goes anywhere. This was just a quick mock up to get the idea across.
The #1 is a good slogan for a bumper sticker.
I feel dumb asking but could someone please tell me HOW you post a picture? Thanks!
I’m a fan of #3 too. It would make a great T-shirt.
#3 would look swell on a t-shirt as well. ;)
Does anyone else get the pun with the phrase: “BACK to the people”?
I get it Rich. Quite clever in my opinion.
Please: Don’t mix the sacred with the profane.
Don’t turn this into an exercise in
pop art or Kitsch.
I like #3. :)
I like 3 and 5

Why not use that glorius 2006 Ash Wednesday photo?
Could someone please tell me how to post an image? I know how to post a link to the image, but how do I get the image to actually appear here?
I’m for Vincenzo’s creations. Having Papa Benny with the thurible puts it all in context.
Well here’s the link to my image, not sure if it will show up below but I will try to get it to show up here.

Ah Vincenzo!
I vote for #9 (Vincenzo’s) as long as it can be on a Tshirt. Otherwise I vote for whatever CAN be done into a Tshirt.
Four would be good if we got rid of the Marini-style surplice and gave him a fiddle-back. Otherwise I vote for #9.
How about one that says, “Let us pray to the Lord”
Multiple layers of meaning in that, but hardly objectionable.
It would show a priest and congregation all facing East.
And that would be the point.
Not for a shirt, but definitely worth viewing……

The numbers are above the images, right? “Usus Antiquior: Back to the people” is not one of the selections, but an alternative caption, right?
If so, then I don’t see any number 9. Well, I see a “9” but I don’t see any image under it. (:-)>+
Is there supposed to be a number 9?
