“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

Say thank you to Saint Isidore of Seville. AlwaysCatholic.com always has your back, Father–you know it ;)
Father Z,
thanks for the heads up; I thought it was only my computer that was loading slow.
Check out the following outrageous story coming out of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati:
http://richleonardi.blogspot.com/2010/04/wrongways.html
Marty Haugen, the Protestant composer who currently serves as composer-in-residence at Mayflower United Church of Christ in Minneapolis and serves occasionally as adjunct instructor at United Theological Seminary in New Brighton, Minnesota has been selected to lead the Archdiocese’s USCCB / FDLC / NOCERCC Roman Missal Workshop. How can the Archdiocese (in good conscience) select a heterodox Protestant to lead the archdiocese in implemented the improved translation of the Roman Missal? This can’t be good news. Any thoughts Father?
Sorry, typo. The word ‘implemented’ in the 3rd to last sentence should read ‘implementing.’
Father,
I was wondering…is the Latin going to stay in the Mass all year round, not just during Lent? (Hope so!)
Oh good, I thought it was just me!
It’s just fine! Actually, pretty fast!
God Bless.
I thought it was a little slower than normal-I mean the loading!
I also got a message about an ‘error’.
Hope it gets fixed soon, Fr. Z!
