To our Catholic friends in England and Scotland

I am so happy for you who are our friends in England and Scotland, as you enjoy the visit of the Holy Father.

Many people around the world are watching.  We are delighted for you and for the marvelous messages the Vicar of Christ has brought to your land.

To this blog’s readers there: we’ve got your back.  We are proud of your good turn out and your comportment and your prayerful participation we have seen via the webstream and television.

Pray for us as we pray for you.

And let us all pray for Pope Benedict!

How happy are we!Our Holy Father has brought Christianity back to these islands, and the bleating voices of dissent have been hushed. He has won hearts and minds, with his message of love, hope and friendship. The sight of him in Westminster Palace, the place where St Thomas more was condemmed, was overwhelmingly powerful. His holiness, his humbleness, his love, a reflection of the Loving Face of Christ. How blest are we to have had him,how loathe are we to let him go.God give him strength. Our Great Lady Of Walsingham pray for him and for England.
    To God be the glory.

That’s exactly it, Father. I’m excited for, and proud of these good people. What I have seen and heard has been so beautiful! I love our good Holy Father! I do forget to pray for the Holy Father enough (beyond normal daily prayers.) I realized in these past few days that I need to be praying more. It’s so important.

I have been crying with joy and longing for heaven. I hope to be part of heaven ofcourse, but the fear of needing to be there, left me, and I just wanted God’s Will to be made manifest and paramount. I hardly know what I mean sometimes….but it felt like freedom, a glimpse.

Yes, very happy for you indeed!

  5. sprachmeister says:

It has been a wonderful experience and we can only thank God for this blessing. Now we must pray that God opens the ears and hearts of the people of Britain to the message which the Holy Father has given to us.

  6. Thanks for the support, Fr. Z… it’s been invaluable in countering some of the negative press there has been!

  7. Jack Hughes says:

It was a wonderful day – now we have our first beatus since the english revolution.
