Sorry to hear you were down, Fr. Today is Mary Help of Christians – may Our Lady help you carry whatever sorrow was burdening you.
It wasn’t all that bad. And we learn to roll with the punches, right? This is life, after all!
Besides, in a little while I am meeting some young priests for an early supper and then we are off to an ordination to make a few more priests!

The first time I watches this my dog was alive and I found this hilarious. Now, since my dog got cancer and I had to put her down, this just brings back memories of doing that to my dog and made me all sad and depressed. Though, so does the fact that I have to actually sweep all the food that fell on the floor as I was chopping vegetables as there’s no dog to eat them for me at the moment.
I’ve never seen that before – too funny!!
And I notice that there’s no more “Olim” heading on your blog. I’m now officially registered at Fr. Z.’s Blog!

APX, so sorry. My dog died last summer, and I got two new ones (that needed re-homing), they’re such a comfort when I think of the of that died. Also, no need for sweeping!
