I give Raymond and Fr. Murray so much credit and I want to thank them. They have a lot more restraint than I do. They are informing the average Catholic, who is behind the curve in understanding what is going on, but probably catching up in the last week or so.
I can’t understand Bono being so naïve and believing this pope feels pain over the sex abuse victims, because he made a face. Really? That’s all it takes? I guess people just hear what they want to hear. The pope having meet and greets and love-fests with celebrities who support abortion and same-sex marriage is truly a scandal, or should be. It’s not with this papacy of course. We’re used to it. Emma Bonino, Katy Perry and so many more.
Pope Benedict said he was intending to bifurcate the papacy into active and contemplative ministries, both he and Francis. There are other corroborating aspects, but I believe he said it himself, or Georg Ganswein (sp) did. There is great confusion over who is pope not just because of the white cassock. This has become a huge issue partly because the active member is that bad.
