UPDATED: Attempted assassination of Pres. Trump at rally in Butler, PA. Trump wounded. 13 July 1917… Third Secret. Just wondering….

UPDATE 17 July:

A reader sent me a screen shot of how the Fatima scene at the nearby parish, the assassin’s position and Trump’s podium line up.

UPDATE 15 July:

I just received this in my email:

Message Body:
Not sure if I can send you photos. I did some research. The Catholic Church that is across the street from the Butler fairgrounds has an outdoor grotto to Our Lady of Fatima and the visionaries. The statue of Our Lady faces in the direction of the fairgrounds. I don’t really believe in coincidence anymore.

Our Lady of Fatima, again.  I looked it up.  HERE

ORIGINALLY POSTED  Jul 13, 2024

UPDATE: I just remembered that, after Pres. Trump went to N. Korea in 2018 and met with King Jong Un, the former President stopped in Guam.  Our Lady of  Fatima showed up!   I wrote about it at the time, but I can’t find it. However, The Remnant has it HERE:

Last week President Trump received a scapular and a lesson on Fatima from Edward Baza Calvo, governor of Guam since 2011.

“About 165,000 people have taken a big sigh of relief since ten months ago the leader of North Korea was making pronouncements of the nuclear annihilation of our island,” says Gov. Calvo in the short clip below from PacificDailyNews.com. “And now we have, ten months later, a document paving the way–signed by both [Trump and Kim Jong-un]–to peace and denuclearization,”

A year ago, when this crisis was unfolding, the traveling Lady of Fatima had just come from Korea to Guam, and fifteen minutes after Trump signed the agreement with Kim Jong-un, the statue arrived at the house of Governor Calvo. Being Catholic, he said, “I don’t believe in coincidences.”

In gratitude to both Our Lady of Fatima and the U.S. President, Gov. Calvo handed Trump a scapular and told him that Catholics, such as Melania, would understand its significance.

Coincidence?

Surely you’ve heard the news about the assassination attempt, so I won’t recap it.

I was just hanging out in Pittsburgh with the priest who gave the invocation AT THAT RALLY.   He gave the invocation, told people around him to PRAY for the man because someone was going to try to shoot him.  20 minutes later….

That said, people started pinging me on phone and email about this immediately after I had read a story about the 3rd apparition of Our Lady of Fatima on 13 July 1917.  (As one does.)

This was the apparition with the vision of Hell and the the future role of Russia.   This is the apparition of the “Third Secret”, which would not be revealed until Sr. Lúcia wrote them down in 1941 at the request of the bishop.  The third part, the “Third Secret”, was only later sent to the bishop who sent it unread to Pope Pius XII.

In case you have never read it, or of it, here is what Lúcia wrote.  No, it doesn’t have anything to do with the assassination attempt, but it is a good moment to get you to read about the apparition and the Third Secret if you haven’t done so before:

A few moments after arriving at the Cova da Iria, near the holmoak, where a large number of people were praying the Rosary, we saw the flash of light once more, and a moment later Our Lady appeared on the holmoak.

“Lúcia,” Jacinta said, “speak. Our Lady is talking to you.”

“Yes?” said Lúcia. She spoke humbly, asking pardon for her doubts with every gesture, and to the Lady: “What do you want of me?”

I want you to come back here on the thirteenth of next month. Continue to say the Rosary every day in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, to obtain the peace of the world and the end of the war, because only she can obtain it.

“Yes, yes.”

“I would like to ask who you are, and if you will do a miracle so that everyone will know for certain that you have appeared to us.”

You must come here every month, and in October I will tell you who I am and what I want. I will then perform a miracle so that all may believe.

Thus assured, Lúcia began to place before the Lady the petitions for help that so many had entrusted to her. The Lady said gently that she would cure some, but others she would not cure.

“And the crippled son of Maria da Capelinha?”

No, neither of his infirmity nor of his poverty would he be cured, and he must be certain to say the Rosary with his family every day.

Another case recommended by Lúcia to the Lady’s assistance was a sick woman from Atougia who asked to be taken to heaven.

Tell her not to be in a hurry. Tell her I know very well when I shall come to fetch her.

Make sacrifices for sinners, and say often, especially while making a sacrifice: O Jesus, this is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for offences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

[First Part of the Secret – The Vision of Hell]

As Our Lady spoke these words she opened her hands once more, as had during the two previous months. The rays of light seemed to penetrate the earth, and we saw as it were a sea of fire. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form, like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that issued from within themselves together with great clouds of smoke, now following back on every side like sparks in huge fires, without weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear. (it must have been this sight which caused me to cry out, as people say they heard me do). The demons could be distinguished by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals. terrified and as if to plead for succor, we looked up at Our Lady, who said to us, so kindly and so sadly:

[Second Part of the Secret]

You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. It is to save them that God wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If you do what I tell you, many souls will be saved, and there will be peace.

This war will end, but if men do not refrain from offending God, another and more terrible war will begin during the pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night that is lit by a strange and unknown light [this occurred on January 28, 1938], you will know it is the sign God gives you that He is about to punish the world with war and with hunger, and by the persecution of the Church and the Holy Father.

To prevent this, I shall come to the world to ask that Russia be consecrated to my Immaculate Heart, and I shall ask that on the First Saturday of every month Communions of reparation be made in atonement for the sins-of the world. If my wishes are fulfilled, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, then Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, bringing new wars and persecution of the Church; the good will be martyred and the Holy Father will have much to suffer; certain nations will be annihilated. But in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and the world will enjoy a period of peace. In Portugal the faith will always be preserved…

[Third Part of the Secret – Congregation for Doctrine of the Faith, “The Message of Fátima”]

{After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’.

And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in white; ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father’. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross, he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.}

Remember, you must not tell this to anyone except Francisco.

When you pray the Rosary, say after each mystery: O my Jesus, forgive us, save us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need.

“Is there anything more that you want of me?”

No, I do not want anything more of you today.

Then as before Our Lady began to ascend towards the east, until she finally disappeared in the immense darkness of the firmament.

We need to preserve our freedom from government suppression, but boldly use that freedom to save souls.

  2. michele421 says:

With all due respect, are you actually implying that the Most Pure, Most Virgin, Most Chaste Mother of God could conceivably have anything to do with this serial philanderer, liar and might-be pedophile who soils all he touches? I’m not a Catholic anymore but this is still an outrage. Have all Republicans completely lost touch with reality?

[I’ll take that as a “no” vote. There are some serious problems of thought and charity in your message. It starts with a reference to “respect”, which you do not show at all. It continues by making the Blessed Virgin stingy. You make rash judgements about the former president. Then the worst of all: you say you are not Catholic anymore. But, of course, you are whether you want to be or not. Then you slander all Republicans. Therefore, I deem that it is time for you to have a time out to reflect. Blessings and best.]

  3. DeeEmm says:

I may be the only one here to have this opinion…. but I am very wary of Trump and the whole series of events propelling him forward. Biden has been a gift to make it impossible to not choose Trump. This event has now catapulted him into a stratosphere of “almost martyr”. He becomes almost untouchable, no criticism can be leveled against him on the issues now because of his “almost martyr” status. He has faced a well-televised court room persecution for months, now he has the cherry on top. Don’t get me wrong, people died today and Trump was shot. We are watching a terrible tragedy unfold.

If you have an even smallest grasp of the stone-cutters’ hold on elections you understand that left vs right, dark vs light, these ideas are part of their belief system and how they operate. They control both sides of everything in modern times. ALWAYS. If they indeed control Trump and are funding and controlling his rise, I worry what they will use him for once he is securely installed. This game may not only be to get him into office, it’s to make sure you love him, idolize him and support everything he does out of blind loyalty.

Am I too cynical? I’ve seen a bit of the world and I know what people are capable of. I take nothing for granted. I encourage my fellow Catholics to keep their heads cool and pay extra special attention when someone is telling you what you want to hear.
Keep asking questions. Keep your critical-thinking hats on, and your tin-foil ones too. Don’t be ruled by emotion. The worst one is fear, they can make you capable of anything if you are afraid. Just think what the world just went through because they made everyone afraid.

  4. Benedict Joseph says:

We are on the same page, Father. It was the first thing in my mind when the news hit, but the 13th from May to October are always conscious Fatima days. In the NO it is also the memorial of St. Henry, the good emperor of Germany.
President Trump, while by no means perfect, is an important figure in attempting to rescue our country from the demonic. Every once and a while I think of King Cyrus, king of Babylon, whom God employed to set His people free. Our Lord does, as the saying goes, write straight with us crooked lines.
God protect our country and reward you for your persistent and consistent fidelity to us, and to Holy Church.

  5. misternaser says:

    Go to confession.

  6. Kathleen10 says:

Hopefully Michele is sitting in the corner, thumb in mouth. Just, wow. I won’t say more, because nothing charitable would come out, except, that’s a center of the earth low, and it’s unnerving to see people so out of touch with basic decency.

The images are going to be with all of us forever, reflecting so much, a man who has put his nation and people far, far ahead of himself, a man of incredible courage and tenacity, a man who, if he had turned his head a millimeter, may have been killed today, was bleeding and wounded, but who, in front of the eyes of the world, demonstrated his lion’s heart. God in heaven, thank you for such a man, please continue to protect and guide him, and us, amen. Our Lady, cover him with your mantle please.

  7. Ben J: 13th from May to October are always conscious Fatima days.

Yes, they are. I am mindful of the FACT that JP2 (of increasingly happy memory despite all efforts from high places toward damnatio memoriae) was saved from assassination on one of the days of the apparitions. Am I saying that there is an equivalence between JP2 and Trump? Well, they are both world leaders and they are both set against Communism. They are also both carbon-based life forms. I also know that there are some indications that the former President does not ignore things Catholic (cf. my story about the matching rosaries for him and his wife, cf. the Governor in Guam who received a traveling statue of Our Lady of FATIMA 15 minutes before Trump arrived).

  8. mrs wu says:

DeeEmm, I don’t know that you are wrong. We are told, with very good reason, to put not our trust in princes. Our spiritual problems do not have a political solution.

And yet. What do we do, in this very imperfect time? We pray, and I guess we vote for the one who may do less harm.

And we pray, and sacrifice, and know that the suffering we are given can be reparation for our very real sins.

    Lord, have mercy.

  9. Charivari Rob says:

No, I do not see anything in that image that reminds me of the famous image of the flag-raising at Iwo Jima.

  10. palestrinadei says:

The Fatima anniversary entered my mind earlier this week, but came to the forefront around 8 this morning, when a little tidbit came on the news that Huma Abedin (former wife of Anthony Weiner and confidante of Hillary Clinton) and Alexander, the son and heir of Soros, were about to be married. One anchor said, exactly, “a match made in hell”. I thought to myself, “what might the bad guys have in store to celebrate?” Already, the advocates of “Agenda 2030” (and beyond that, 2050!) have been trying to scare everyone about “Project 2025”, conveniently taking attention off of their own plans.
Throughout the day, though a thousand miles away from Pennsylvania and unaware there was to be a rally, I sensed unusual danger in the air, that certain people, ordinarily harmless, might be looking for a fight, that drivers on the road were being particularly reckless.
Then the priest who usually leads a monthly rosary meeting on Zoom for an organization I belong to had unusual difficulty making it online… and when we finally started 15 minutes late, the lay leader initially forgot the Apostles’ Creed and went directly to the first mystery. Father, who had been listening on the phone, had to intervene after an Our Father and half a Hail Mary to remind her to go back. She attributed her distraction to the same tech problems.
I missed seeing the awful event live on television by perhaps a minute or so – the stage had just cleared and reporters were still confused as to why #45 (who only recently became the favorite to be #47… or perhaps even #48?) collapsed and then was taken off stage.
About 30 minutes later, it was reported that #46, who gave a rather calumnious speech on Thursday night that one might consider to have included all of the “errors of Russia”, had been at (Saturday vigil?) Mass when the awful event happened. No interruption occurred there; all exited “at the appointed time” about 5-10 minutes after. Might the moment of the shooting have coincided with administration of Communion? Shades of the most famous mob movie, God forgive me, were inescapable.
An hour or so later, I was outside and heard and saw the most unusual lightning in a partly cloudy sky – about four flashes, a minute or two apart – more like a strobe light across the sky than a weather event, and no rain.
The FBI, of all possible law enforcement organizations, is now taking the lead on the investigation. Will we ever know how the would-be assassin made it onto the roof… and what his true beliefs were, versus what certain interests (perhaps those “stonecutters” looking to make Ukraine the 33rd NATO nation?) will claim that they were? I smell a rat somewhere and really hope Benedict and Kathleen have this right, because if DeeEmm is onto something, the country as we knew it is truly gone. All we can do, then, is trust that God has something better in store, sooner rather than later, for those able to persevere.

  11. maternalView says:

We know God uses imperfect men.
And sometimes through that use those imperfect men become God’s greatest messengers.

While we wonder what this means for US let us pray for what it could mean for Trump…that he becomes the man that God wants him to be.

  12. mrs wu says:

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

    We fly to thy patronage….

  13. Eoin Suibhne says:

About the Decree Against Communism issued by Pope Pius XII, I pray that is coincidental only that Pope John Paul II abrogated it when he issued the revised Code of Canon Law in 1983.

From Wikipedia: “The decree was fully abrogated with the introduction of the 1983 Code of Canon Law on 27 November 1983, as Canon 6 of the new Canon Law abrogated the 1917 code, along with ‘any universal or particular penal laws whatsoever issued by the Apostolic See unless they are contained in this Code’ and ‘other universal or particular laws contrary to the prescripts of this Code unless other provision is expressly made for particular laws’, and no new decrees on excommunication of communists were introduced.”

  14. pac76 says:

Certainly I think all those prayers for Donald Trump have had some effects, and perhaps altered what would have happened to him today.

What is sure is that an event like that would cause anyone to ponder his own mortality (and hopefully the purpose of his life). Not a bad thing for someone who may have the responsibilities of the presidency. My hope is that it makes him think about the importance of protecting life (including the unborn).

Finally, may God save the souls of the people who died.

  15. BeatifyStickler says:

As a Canadian I say God Bless the United States of America! I suspect the spiritual implications of Abortion and Roe v Wade in all of this. Rosa Mystica, Ora pro Nobis.

  16. jhogan says:

Sometimes an apparent coincidence is exactly that, a coincidence. That being said, the violence seen today at the rally and more generally in our society is evidence that we as a people in the U.S. have turned away from God. To me it is a call to our society to repent and return to God. As Our Lord proclaimed: “Repent, and believe the Gospel”.

  17. maternalView says:

I think that photo is iconic (or will be) like Iwo Jima or the flag over the decimated twin towers. I wonder whether the regular media continues to use it when they realize it. It is a great photo whether you like the man or not.

  18. Ave Maria says:

There are idiots who said all this was staged. Well, after 8 years of constant fomenting of hatred towards Mr. Trump, what can you expect. Perhaps they are the same ones who took the ‘safe and effective’ things? They believe the leftist media. The man had his home invaded and raided, has been dragged through court cases that others can easily shrug off and yet he continues. To say Biden was a gift? Are you kidding me? A scandal of a ‘Catholic’. He is a front for those in control. From his first day, he said that he signs what ‘they’ put in front of him. Are we better off than 4 years ago? NO. Millions of illegals, criminals, and enemies have entered our country at essentially the invitation of the govt. Part of the globalist plan. I think only Mr. Trump can end some of the wars and begin to give us a path to righting the wrongs. Also, he is not antithetical to the Catholic faith.

  19. Kathleen10 says:

Forgot to say, I do see Iwo Jima imagery in that photo. I’m sure artists can analyze it better, but the juxtaposition of the figures, the flag, the presence of awe-inspiring courage and meaning in the action, yes, it is that level of meaning, unless one’s heart is so prejudiced against the man they won’t see it. Courage and meaning, are in the eye of the beholder. We see it.

  20. adriennep says:

Yes, Father, I immediately saw the Iwo Jima image in that photo. And it will likewise be the one for history books.

Remember it was John Paul II who introduced Ronald Reagan to Our Lady of Fatima. This from Paul Kengor’s amazing book A Pope and a President. I used to tell my catechism students that JPII strongly believed an unseen hand intervened to move his bullet the millimeter needed to save his life and redeem history. Likewise Trump’s miraculous millimeter. Thank you for the Fatima reminder.

  21. Lurker 59 says:

As we look to Our Lady’s hand in all of this, I’d like to remind everyone that Melania Trump is Catholic and at least has some devotion to Our Lady.

  22. hwriggles4 says:

God and the Holy Spirit was on the lookout. Another millimeter who knows what would have happened.

Years ago I had a co-worker who had been stationed overseas in the Air Force. Booking a flight home he decided for some reason Pan Am flight 103 didn’t fit into his travel schedule.

Thanksgiving day 2017 I was in a car accident while traveling to visit family. Totaled my truck, but if I had been hit about a few feet south I probably would have had to be hospitalized. You know Father, I went to confession the day before, which in my opinion helped.

  23. tlawson says:

    To michele421 –

“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment,” (Jn 7:24). Your thinking seems to have been molded more by CNN than by the Gospel. I’m not defending any sinful behavior, but have you ever READ the genealogy of Jesus? Seen the list of sinners? Rahab! King David committed adultery and murder and more.

    Grow up.

    I say this in charity.

Like it or not, that man is a huge signpost of the “signs of the times” (Mt 16:3).

  24. hwriggles4 says: I went to confession the day before, …

    There it is!

    Everyone… GO TO CONFESSION!

You don’t know what is going to happen a few minutes from now, much less days or weeks.

May God be to good to the poor person who was fatally wounded at that rally. Someone who got up in the morning and dressed and had breakfast just like we do, not suspecting that it would be for the last time. How very sad.

    GO TO CONFESSION!

  26. mrs wu says:

As it happens, I did go to confession on Saturday morning, after a lapse of several months. Our very excellent priest advised me to remember, and to be grateful for, God’s love for me. As my Orthodox friend was advised by her priest: “God is good, and loves mankind.” Even presidential candidates, and those who try to kill them.

    Kyrie eleison!

  27. ALL: There is an interesting article about the photographer who shot that amazing photo HERE. Also at that site is a photo which show the bullet in flight.

  28. Anneliese says:

There’s a Catholic YouTuber who says feminism almost got DJT killed because there was a female secret service member. Seems awfully silly to me. What say you fine people?

  29. Thomas says:

The image of the Marines at Iwo Jima raising the Flag was one of the first things to come to mind, and one of several why I found it to be a compelling and historic photo.

  30. surritter says:

@Ave Maria — you seem to have misinterpreted DeeEm’s comment. Biden is a gift in that he is such a bumbling idiot that he’s turning voters away, which means more votes for Mr. Trump come November!

  31. TWF says:

    Lurker:
She is a Catholic, but they weren’t married in the church and I believe she attends Episcopalian. But she may still have some devotion to Our Lady.

  32. Lurker 59 says:

    ~TWF

Even with the mess of it all, never underestimate the gravitational pull of a wife’s (latent?) faith upon her husband, especially when Our Lady is pulling on her.

  33. EAW says:

The Iwo Jima photograph is not as well known on my side of the pond as in the USA, but the similarity in the imagery struck me almost immediately.

  34. adriennep says:

Anneliese: Not feminism per se but the Secret Service’s DEI Director and female recruitment policies. That SS gal hugging him was too short to cover his head. There have been numerous reports of SS since their new female Director. Trump had asked for and been refused more coverage. SS widely scrutinized now as to why their protection was so lax for this event—no one on that roof! There will now be indictments and resignations (hopefully).

  35. Charivari Rob says:

adriennep – at this point, the allegation of “asked for and been refused more coverage” is unsupported. Media outlets (both conservative and liberal) have gone no further than reporting (a) the existence of an allegation made by one elected official who cites unidentified “sources”, and (b) a no-details statement from the agency level saying that coverage had been increased in recent weeks.

If there is anything to the allegation, it will come out in the investigations. That kind of communications & assignment trail is not easily covered, especially if there are actual ‘sources’.

I agree that one of the big early questions is “how is it that that building/roof was not adequately secured?”

Firstly I have been a Trump supporter from the begining. I just read Michele421 comments. When Trump ran in 2016, some women at church didn’t like him. I asked why? They said well, he has been divorced. I asked who was their favorite President. They said Ronald Reagan. I said, he was divorced and had a long tern affair with Doris Day among others..
I am proud to say these ladies voted for Trump. People change, we all do. God is calling Trump.

  38. KateD says:

Yes, I see a wiff of Iwa Jima. It is a strong image on it’s own, though, too.

What I AM seeing is a great miracle that we have been blessed with. That head turn to the right at the exact perfect moment was certainly the inspiration of an intervening guardian angel.

I don’t know what happened to President Trump in that moment, but I have no doubt it was Divine Intervention. Praise be to God!

And that it doesn’t give those suffering TDS pause is something to consider…..In the face of a miracle they continue in their path of wickedness… We like to think they are misinformed, misled, or deceived. That’s not the case. They are truly hardened. Beyond stiff-necked. We should not let that fact slip from the forefront of our attention.

The gunman was permitted on to the premises…..By whom?
The gunman was ignored for half an hour…..By whom?
The gunman was allowed to take several kill shots….By whom?

If one officer says, “I called in the perp half an hour before the first shot” who did he call it in to? What did that individual report it to? This chain needs to be meticulously examined link by link until those responsible are discovered and prosecuted.

It should not be used as an excuse to remove loyal and good secret service from President Trump’s detail. President Biden AND VP Harris must be held accountable.
    IMHO

In the meantime we must continue our prayer coverage over this whole process. Priests should be brawling to get in and give the benediction at each of Trumps events. Bless him and pray for him every chance you get. This is as much on each and everyone of us as it is the secret service. Have we been falling down in our prayers? Pick up again. Pray the Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas.

  39. KateD says:

DM – Blah blah blah….lots of conjecture. Here’s what we know…children are safer after 4 years of Trump. Let’s start with that. Look at his track record. Stone cutters want dead babies, and open borders. Your argument is not substantive, doesn’t stand up to history and evidence.

Ben J & Fr. Z – my mind went to JPII’s failed assassination attempt, too…though I don’t see a great correlation beyond the obvious.

RE feminism and DEI: If a woman can do the job, fine, but if she can’t, then she can’t. There are obvious roles only a woman could fill within the details of the secret service, for those purposes, use a female agent. For the job of blocking bullets, I suppose the more the merrier…if you’re in the vicinity pile on….but for the job of hand to hand combat, c’mon. Who are they kidding? The strongest women are no match for the weakest men, generally speaking. We are physiologically built differently. The strength and density of muscles is different as well as the scaffolding upon which it rests. For the assignment of guarding the person of President Donald Trump use men of comparable or larger height and build. Fer fe….goodness….sake, cover the target! That’s the job. A girl half his size leaves all his vitals exposed exposed, his guts, heart and head. It ain’t rocket science, folks. I’d say have guys with helmets who are 6’7″ fit and a champion fighters, excellent shots, great shape, and WIDE in full body armor form a cocoon around President Trump the minute the “Hey, we’ve got an unidentified on the room 130 meters out” call comes in. Get him off the stage, clear the threat, continue the rally. Seems pretty simple if you ask me. No need to wait half an hour to let the guy get a shot off. WTHeck?!?

Not staged, but commissioned/sanctioned…but by whom. Find em. Ferret them out. No more hiding in anonymity. We want names….no more scapegoating!

  40. Liz says:

Remember the holy man from Italy that bought a brick with Trump’s name on it? Perhaps it was for the holy doors. It was decades ago and he said Trump would save our country. I wish I could remember more details but I think of that sometimes….

  41. Robert says:

Google Earth shows the longitudinal gridlines connecting the Fatima grotto to the podium at the rally to be within feet. If we had the exact global coordinates of each, it might be right on. We can only eyeball it for now.

  42. BeatifyStickler says:

    @Liz. Thomas Zimmer from Loreto.

Liz, I remember that story. I have forgotten it though until your comment. Unfortunately, I remember the same details you do. Where did we read that?

There is no coincidence in life, so there is a meaning to the fact that Trump was saved. But the meaning could be personal to him alone, such as repent because your life can end at any time. We all know Trump is pro-homosexual and has reverted back to supporting abortion unlike in his first term in office. Unfortunately, hopefully his Catholic concubine Melania will have the grace from God to tell him that and in the process tell him to marry her in a Catholic ceremony since Trump is now a widower with the death of his legitimate wife Ivana. I support Trump for President but I worry that he is leaving the surroundings of the prolifers who surrounded him in the first term into the grasp of wishy washy social liberals like JD Vance (who supports the abortion pill) who may make him be much less conservative when he wins in November.

I look for the Divine in everything, and often find it, but connecting the statue of Our Lady of Fatima at the church near the fairgrounds to the fairgrounds itself is a stretch. Firstly, it isn’t across the street. It’s about 5.6 miles away as the crow flies. Also Our Lady’s statue faces almost due north, while the fairgrounds more northwest of the statue.

St. Conrad’s church. Not 5.6 miles away, directly south. In eyes distance.

  47. One of you readers sent me a screen shot.

  48. Grant M says:

5.6 miles? If the shooter was about 150 yards from Trump, then the distance from the fairground to the grotto would seem to be about 1,000 yards or 0.568 miles.

I am not competent on prophesy nor do I have preternatural knowledge but I can note and contemplate events. I note that a man who opposes the immoral policies of the present political administration still lives after what was almost certain death. I also note that lately, the sun seems not to shine very brightly on a group and its members that seek to undermine the admonitions of the Almighty .

    WOW tzabiega,
Your comments made me think of St. Augustine. Before he became a Catholic, he had some pretty outrageous views and fathered an illegitimate Son who was raised by his Mother. Became a Doctor of the Church.
We just pray for Trump to be reelected and convert to Catholicism.
By the way JD Vance ansd his wife are Catholic converts
