For your Brick By Brick file comes this good news.
I learned from a friend (and I think the news is now getting around) that the Institute of Christ the King has obtained a church in Limerick, Ireland.
The rather wordy press release is HERE.
Here is a nice bit of news in it:
The prior of the Church of the Sacred Heart is a 38 year-old priest, Canon Wulfran Lebocq, choir-master of the Institute and permanently resident in the diocese since 2010. For the time being, the community in Limerick is composed of four members, whose average age is 32.
Brick by Brick!
Back when this was being sold 5 years old, a developer wanted to turn the Church into a swimming pool and spa centre. There was a lot of anger and concern in the community at the time. Thankfully I think there was a preservation order on it.
Let the Rosary walks begin!
Excellent! I love ICKSP. May they keep spreading!
I hope they get Holy Trinity in Boston too
I hope they will have something here is LA,CA so that I do not have to drive 60m ea way to hear the extraordinary form.
Very joyful to hear this news and thanks be to God for giving us this favor! I’ll continue to donate to the ICRSS seminarian fund so the Institute will be able to serve ever more the Church around the world. How I pray they may one day have an apostolate in my neck of the woods!
Forgot to add this to my previous!
