Cute cartoon; it made me smile but it makes me sad at the same time.
Ahh… I love that the Pope is driving a FIAT. :)
Hey fiats are great cars…. to work on. I used to have a model 2000 spyder it was awsome. Love the stickers. Mine says “Who is John Galt”. Perfect for life in the former USA.
“I love that the Pope is driving a FIAT. :)”
Made me smile, too. Today I’m feeling a bit better about the retirement. After all, His Holiness has probably never gotten what he wants when he wants it–the very definition of one who loves–surely we can give him this.
@ Therese,
I agree…our beloved Papa driving off in a Fiat is just so sweet. I smiled at the thought of him relaxed and composed as he drives off to some little church in the beautiful hills of the Italian countryside. I copied the image and have saved it as a sweet memento of some very sweet humor.
Thanks again Fr. Z for sharing it with the rest of us.
