Left freaks out over SCOTUS pick. Hilarious tweets ensue.

On this 150th anniversary of the 14th Amendment, the smears against newly nominated Judge Kavanaugh have begun.

BTW… it doesn’t matter that the Left knows that that has nothing to do with Roe v. Wade: that issue always whips up lots of fundraising. Anyway, there are some funny things going on in the tweetosphere.

and…

and…

This is so nutty it’s funny (especially in light of what Planned Parenthood does to threaten lives)!

William F. Buckley once observed that if Roe were overturned, many states would just pass liberal abortion laws or allow it in limited circumstances.

If an overwhelming majority of Americans are “pro-choice” (meaning supporting abortion on demand, opposing any and all restrictions, and supporting public financing of abortions), then why is the pro-abortion lobby so dependent on the judiciary to uphold their side?

Wouldn’t they benefit by having Roe overturned and mobilizing the scared electorate to elect pro-abortion legislators across the board?

    Or…

  4. Dimitri_Cavalli says:

James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal once theorized the “Roe effect.” Parent(s) usually pass on their political, religious, and moral values to their children. (Yes, children can–and do–reject their parents’ beliefs–conservative or liberal.) Pro-choicers will have fewer children, if any, than pro-lifers. As the decades pass, pro-lifers will eventually outnumber (and out vote) pro-choicers.

Maybe this helps explain why the left suddenly forgets taking away economic opportunities for racial minorities, depressing wages for the working poor, overcrowded public schools, and increasing environmental problems when the issues are legal immigration and illegal immigration. (Civil rights and environmentalist groups, labor unions, and even Bernie Sanders once supported restricting legal immigration.)

From a British perspective he comes across as a bit of a CINO, apparently he said that Roe was ‘settled law’ during his confirmation hearings 10yrs ago. Very disappointed it wasn’t Barrett, who cares that she’d be harder to confirm, trump has gone down in my estimation.

Regarding the Women’s March against “XX,” I already tweeted, “I stand against nominating Roman Numerals to SCOTUS!” [Disclosure: I “sort of” re-tweeted someone’s post that contained a typo …] Mea culpa…

Should we read anything into Rorate Caeli’s and others unhappiness with Kavanaugh‘s positin on Roe v Wade? I am trying to figure if it’s a storm in a tea cup or not!

I’m not so convinced about this Kavanaugh fellow. I hope he’s good, I would have certainly preferred Barret. Let’s see what happens.

As I reflected on it, I thought Barret could have been a real watershed moment for the pro-life movement worldwide. Anyway, it’s not even sure that this nominee will get approved so…

I also can’t stand how the left tried to torpedo Barret because – common, darn it we all know it – she has 7 kids. They hate that! It goes against their template of how things ought to be in their sick little utopia…dystopia.

ROFL! Kavanaugh is a fine, brilliant family man, Catholic, and fair Jurist. I think the left is throwing a nutty just because they have nothing better to do!

  12. Malta says:

@John Grammaticus: I wanted Barrett in there too, but a couple of Republicans said they wouldn’t confirm her, and that would have been that. I think Republicans realized Kavanaugh was someone they could get confirmed. But on Roe, I think like many Jurists once they get confirmed, he could switch on the issue of “it’s settled law.”

At Georgetown Prep. After high school he studied at Yale for both degrees. The last time I looked Yale wasn’t run by Jesuits. In fact, the Dominicans have a parish just off the Yale campus.

Btw, I know someone who also went to Gatown Prep, then to the ivy League for undergrad and law degrees. He’s a TLM guy.

I didn’t have a voice in choosing my newer diocesan bishop, but I made sure I gave him a chance to settle in and witness a few things. Frankly, our current ordinary has been here nearly 18 months, and seems to be doing well. I am sure many of us remember being the new kid in school, and wondering what others see.

It has nothing to do with storms or tea cups. Lower court judges are obligated to follow precedent set by SCOTUS. SCOTUS justices are not.

  16. robtbrown says:

    Grammaticus,

For a lower court justice Roe is settled law. SCOTUS, however, can unsettle it.

  17. JamesA says:

I think Kavanaugh will be fine. Barrett can replace Ginsberg, Deo volente, when the biological solution takes effect.

  18. hwriggles4 says:

Folks, let’s give Kavanaugh a chance. He seems like he is a constitutional law specialist, and knows that the constitution is not just a piece of paper. Our founding fathers intended the constitution as a document, and not just a piece of paper hung on the wall.

Now, my opinion is that Mark Lee was not picked because if confirmed, Utah would have to elect (or the state governor would have to appoint) another Senator. Two others, Barrett and Don Willett (Willett is from my home state, and is a strong Baptist who upholds Christian values, including the life issues) were appointed circuit court judges within the last year, and it’s probably too soon to refill these seats with others had Trump picked them, and the Senate voted to confirm one of them.

    Give Kavanaugh a chance.

For what it’s worth, I don’t recall Gorsuch and Sotomayor being questioned about their Catholic upbringing, and I know Justice Thomas is a revert ( I can relate – I am one too) who attended a high school seminary (now closed) in Savannah, Georgia.

  19. Dimitri_Cavalli says: William F. Buckley once observed that if Roe were overturned, many states would just pass liberal abortion laws or allow it in limited circumstances.

I wonder if that’s still true now, after decades of having abortion as a “constitutional right” crammed down our throats.

John Grammaticus says: From a British perspective he comes across as a bit of a CINO, apparently he said that Roe was ‘settled law’ during his confirmation hearings 10yrs ago.

Acknowledging that Roe is settled law is not the same as to say that it should be settled law, or that one is happy to have it be settled law. Bad law can become settled law. That’s why it’s so important to populate the courts with judges who do not legislate from the bench.

  20. NBW says:

    I hope Kavanaugh is good.

  21. Ave Maria says:

Oh, the irony! McAuliffe writes that millions of American lives will be threatened….would that be perhaps also considering the 60 million unborn American lives already taken?

  22. John Grammaticus says:

    Dear Malta

So we’re left with a guy who is (at best) slightly less worse than the guy he’s replacing ……. great ………… not

  23. stephen c says:

robt brown said: a lower court judge is obligated to follow Roe v Wade.

You are better than that, Mr Brown. What you said is not true. No catholic judge can condemn a child to death based on vicious sinful precedent. Poor little Mr Kavanaugh, in his greed for worldly success, said otherwise. Poor little Mr Kavanaugh simply does not understand who is obligating whom to do what. Let us pray for him!

A lower court judge, at the best, is obligated to recuse himself or herself from ruling in any case where Roe v Wade is a binding precedent, and is also obligated to send back to the treasury the salary that the government tried to give said lower court judge that week.

That is the answer poor little Mr Kavanaugh should have made. He did not, because he is a typical time-serving loser, but …

The relevant Bible verse includes pieces of silver as the relevant marker of how little it takes to turn a good man bad. Think about it – how many of our “conservative” lower court justices would have, as Judas in his youthful days, before something turned him into a foolish sinner, given up everything to follow Jesus? I know a few of them, and the answer, as best as I can say, is simply this: show me an American Judge who sends back his paycheck when he should, to avoid subservience to the evil doctrines of our pro-abortion days. There are not many. And poor little Mr Kavanaugh, may God have mercy on his soul, who yesterday cravenly praised Kennedy – the one man most likely to be considered, in years to come, as the prime should-have-known-better abortion prelate of our sad little judicial system – poor little Mr Kavanaugh, who praised the craven sinner Kennedy to the skies, is not a good man at this point in time. I would be ashamed of him if he were my son or brother or, God forbid, my father. He may be a good man in the future, but as of today, he should be ashamed of himself. He isn’t, of course, ashamed at all, in his excitement at his worldly success. Poor little man, who has taken the cruelty of abortion into his heart as just another creature of the times!

Kavanaugh, as much as I like him as a person, has yet to show that he is a true Christian. May God some day give him the grace of courage and perseverance!

(By the way, Billy Graham, the multi-millionaire evangelist, never showed he was a true Christian, either – there is something about 20th century rich people that compels them to show their lack of Christianity through their obeisance to the God of Abortion that rules our world – the poor multi-millionaire protestant evangelist never fully condemned abortion as the sin it is, you can look it up.)

I am not saying I am better than those people, I am just saying that they will have to answer to God for their cold-hearted failures, just as I will for my failures (which are different failures, but for the love of God I have never profited from the vicious sin of abortion). Look, nobody thinks about the millions Stalin killed all that often, and an even smaller number of nobodies thinks all that much of Mao’s victims. A thousand years from now we will all, guilty or innocent of that cold-heartedness, be generally despised as a wicked generation – I hope – by good people for our general lack of compassion. I am fine with that, but …

I, for one, want to speak up for the victims. Poor little Mr Kavanaugh has not done so as often as he should: I encourage him to join those of us who try.

Thanks for reading, and I apologize if I misunderstood anybody’s point of view. Maybe, if I did so, my guardian angel was on vacation tonight. But maybe not. Try not to get angry with me, try to put this in the right perspective. Remember, this is 2018, and remember all the souls alive at this time. Thanks for reading.

(and yes, there were several people on Trump’s list of 25 who would not have cravenly praised Kennedy the abortion-supporting craven sinner, as poor little Mr Kavanaugh did. you know that if you know anything about appellate judges, and I know it too … well, once again , thanks for reading).

  24. Malta says:

@robtbrown: “For a lower court justice Roe is settled law. SCOTUS, however, can unsettle it.” VERY true.

  25. Matamoros says:

Read this this morning by Jim Stone. He puts all this into a real construct for us to see where we are in the struggle for our nation, and the rule of Christ the King.

Last night I was furious enough with the left to toss and turn until 3.

Then I got up, had a peanut butter sandwich, and finally fell asleep.

Something new has come to light with the left, and it is that it is unabashedly, proudly evil. This evil is not only in what they will do (bestiality, murder kids, run the slave trade, abortion, overtly seek to destroy Western civilization) you know the list – that list is well known but that’s not what had me tossing and turning. What had me burning last night was the hipocracy.

Here we have a group of people who proclaims women’s rights, yet allows them to be destroyed by antidepressants, and promotes a lonely slave life where they defy everything “feminine” while claiming to be “feminist” and work themselves to death, only to return home to a empty silent home. That causes it. And when after seeking answers for why they feel like shit after getting their brains beaten out by traitors who claim to be professors in college, they are told they have a mental problem and are prescribed pills that destroy them. Liberals are that evil.

On the left we have a group of people who claim free speech, but attempt to destroy it everywhere, especially if you are not into bestiality child sacrifice, running slaves, abortion, or you do not want to destroy Western civilization. and when you take a stand against what liberals stand for you get labeled “a threat to society” and banned on Youtube, Faceplant, EVERYWHERE, even your e-mails which are now automatically scanned and censored.

You can’t even widely get the truth on Kavanaugh via alt media because of this.

Kavanaugh’s lynch pin issue with me is abortion. It is not good that he is a swamp creature either. HOWEVER, does anyone out there in alt media realize that Kavanaugh was the only one to dissent against it with Obamacare, or that he was the only judge to dissent and say no to an illegal immigrant who wanted an abortion? LET ME BE CLEAR: Kavanaugh is not a bishop from the year 1823. But in the context of the filth he comes from, which is the only thing Trump can choose from, there’s really no other choice.

The left is satanic, which shows clearly in their behavior

Name one issue the left has been honest about. They bash the white male as being violent, yet white males are the least violent of all males worldwide. They claim and unborn child is just an un-differentiated tissue blob, like a cyst, yet rip them out of the womb clearly and obviously as whole babies, and after doing it, lie and say it is just an un-differentiated tissue blob with no form.

And back in the 90’s after someone dug through the remains at the Robbinsdale clinic, many abortion facilities started throwing the bodies into a homogenizer (which is like a super fine hamburger grinder) that reduced the bodies to pink slime so “no one could ever pull whole bodies out of the garbage again”. They then claimed all they were removing from women was “jelly” and they showed that “jelly” to a guy I worked with, to “prove they were not killing babies” and I argued and argued with him saying what do you expect to see of ANYTHING after it’s been sent through a homogenizer? He was too stupid to get it, a classic liberal.

Choosing to homogenize the bodies after being busted, and then increasing the level of the lie is exactly what Satan would do. And now that things have corrupted even further, there is a market for the bodies so they probably don’t homogenize them anymore – there’s a profit to be made – time for controlled distribution channels.

In the abortion issue, we have a classic example of Satanic behavior. In scripture, what is the ONE GOAL of satan? What is the key goal? The end summation? Answer: Satan wants to destroy the work of God. Abortion is a supreme, prime example of this desire of satan. And I am also fairly certain that another issue with this topic is the fact that God can’t return until all souls have been tested to where they can be judged, and Satan is trying to buy time by killing as many as possible before they are born. And in addition to it all, the abject dishonesty of the abortion industry is a hallmark of satanic behavior.

The bottom line? Kavanaugh had DAM* WELL BETTER overturn Roe V Wade.

Trump is our last chance. If he fails to fix this country, and Facebook is censoring, and everything good is under attack and slated for destruction, the alt media is going to be diminished, diminished, and diminished further, and the precise moment the left has calculated they can get away with it, everyone is going to be rounded up and shipped out.

This time, unlike other predictions like this, we have a glimpse of what the left is actually going to do. Just look at Zukerberg and facebook. If you stand against abortion, child molesting, the slave trade, IF YOU EXPOSE ANY EVIL AT ALL, YOU WILL BE DECLARED A THREAT TO SOCIETY AND GET WIPED OUT. They proved this with Diamond and Silk. They proved it with countless others less prominent.

Folks, what kind of society is threatened by having evil exposed? ANSWER: THAT SOCIETY WHICH IS RUN BY EVIL. Zukerberg, which is really just a symptom of a greater disease, already told us. If you fight evil, you’re a threat to society. Only a society increasingly ruled by satan could ever spawn someone who would ever say speaking the truth and fighting evil is a threat.

And so I tossed and turned, and tossed and turned . . . . .
