Haitian Pulled From Rubble 27 Days After Quake

    Tuesday, February 09, 2010

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti —  A 28-year-old man was pulled from the rubble of a market in Port-au-Prince on Monday and has been admitted to the University of Miami’s field hospital in the capital, adjacent to the airport, according to hospital officials.

    1. Was his name Lazarus?

He and his family must be so grateful!

    2. Amazing.

    3. How can somebody witness this and then say “There is no God”? What is more amazing – that a man would be preserved from death or that the Creator of the universe would come into the world as a gurgling human baby, and stay as a piece of bread? Lazarus miracles soften our hearts and confirm our faith in the unbelievable. Not only is there a God, but He is near and He is entirely active.

    4. Thanks be to God. May this miracle of God’s love serve as a magnet to draw others to Jesus Christ and His Church, Amen.

      Agnes, I second your post.
