I keep trying to listen to it but the video won’t load well. I have been able to get through about 5 minutes of it. There is nothing wrong with my Internet connection. I wonder if the server at the website is getting too many requests.
Flyfree432,
I do not have a problem with mine, but I had to wait like 10 minutes in order to watch it without it stopping to load.
I LOVE Card. Burke! Pray for him as I know he is getting A LOT of bashing from people. Such a great leader, truly chosen from God! God Bless him!
Meet the Cardinal in St. Louis:
CARDINAL RAYMOND L. BURKETO VISIT THE ORATORY
JANUARY 8TH AT 5:00 PM
A few weeks after his elevation to the College of Cardinals by the Holy Father, His Eminence
Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke is coming home to St. Louis. St. Francis de Sales Oratory will have the great honor of receiving His Eminence on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 5:00 PM. Cardinal Burke will celebrate a Solemn Te Deum of thanksgiving with Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. After the ceremony all the faithful are invited to the church hall for a reception in
the Cardinal’s honor. Please join us on this glorious occasion when we will have the opportunity
to congratulate His Eminence personally and to thank him for all that he has done for St. Francis de Sales Oratory.
How do you greet a Cardinal? This photo might give you some pointers:

wouldn’t it be just awesome if he became Pope????
Unbelievable! GREAT interview! I especially like his story about the parish in his former diocese that was on the brink of collapse before being taken over by the EF crowd. Unsurprisingly, it’s now thriving.
Also, his comments about the indult permitting communion in the hand are quite interesting: “as long as it’s in effect, a priest cannot refuse communion to one who properly extends his hands to receive.” I wonder if the first six words hint at a possible revocation of the indult. Pray that it does!
God bless Cardinal Burke!
What a very nice man, His Eminence is. Ever notice how those prelates most often derided in the media and by heretics are the kindest individuals you could ever meet? I’m thinking of Cardinal Burke and the Holy Father in this instance.
I wonder whether anyone has viewed this interview on an iPad. I viewed it without trouble on my Windows laptop, but cannot get it on my new iPad, not even by entering the actual URL http://www.gloria.tv/?media=120910 rather than simply clicking Fr. Z’s embedded copy. Might gloria.tv possibly use a movie format that the Apple system cannot read?
I am most definitely a member of the Cardinal Burke Fan Club. He would make a terrific pope.
It was good to hear him speak so well of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. That priestly fraternity has a beautiful charism. Their Web site is here: http://www.institute-christ-king.org/home/
Henry, I watched the interview without incident on my circa 2007 iMac.
Ecce Sacerdos Magnus!
That’s the stuff to give the troops.
One day he might be: Leo XIV…oops, did I just say that?
