As you may know, a “tot” is not just a small child but also a small quantity of anything, especially of some beverage, and most especially of a beverage such as rum.
Here is a photo sent by a reader. I share it with you in a shameless attempt to use the ain’t-that-cute factor so as to manipulate you into buying some Mystic Monk Coffee or Tea right now. (The separate Tea page here.)
What a swell photo. I am pretty sure these are the five pound bags. How ’bout trying a fiver of Dark Sumatra?
Help the Carmelites build their monastery and get great coffee doing it.
Mystic Monk Coffee is swell too!
I will now go to the fridge and pout myself a refreshing glass of iced-coffee… Mystic Monk Coffee!
It’s swell!
What a cutie! Pretty soon the five pound bag length will be happy memory (and those sleepless nights…). A great pick me up!
What a sweetie that baby is! And to think it lay still long enough to get photographed with the coffee bags!
‘A tot of coffee’-oh, that’s funny, Father Z!
(I keep praying for your two intentions-I hope that they get solved very soon!)
Fr. Z.! Now Father, what a sales pitch. What a beautiful baby and man, what large bags of coffee.
Mystic Monk, now with a pro-life ad! Must go there and browse & ok, buy. I hear ‘it’s swell’.
That’s a cute baby, but I’m partial to the one in my avatar (even though she’s making a funny face.)
I know of that baby !! Her mom is my friend !!
Love Mystic Monk Coffee – how would I get through the day without my cup of Royal Rum Pecan every morning ?
[Then you had better refresh your supply today! Click HERE!]
Mystic Monk Coffee – Now comes with a free baby when you buy two or more bags! What a sales pitch!
I remember when my babies weighed less then 2 lbs of coffee too! Beautiful pitch and picture!
Thanks for the chuckle, Fr. Z. God bless you!
Way too cute! As the mama of six kiddos, the most recent of whom weighed in at a mere 4 ounces heavier than those 5-pounders, I heartily approve of your use of cuteness to sell delicious coffee. My children thank me for my daily cuppa…in fact, they don’t approach me in the morning unless they see a coffee cup within my reach. One of them, in this case, will fetch it for me, post-haste!!
Thanks for the smile!!
I can’t see the image! What is it?
Dorcas, it’s our number nine, lastest-edition. She is a beautiful (we are biased, I know) black, baby girl that we adopted in June who is betwixt two five-pound bags of Mystic Monks Coffee. (Ethiopian and Cowboy Blend, by the way!) It struck me as funny this a.m. that my coffee (10 pounds total) weighed more than Baby Catherine (nine pounds) so I grabbed a camera. Thanks for all of the kind comments. We do just absolutely adore her! God has has really blessed our family! (Got to go…social worker will be here any minute to check us out so we can legally adopt her! Please say a prayer!) God bless you all!
Liz: Be sure to give the social worker a… wait for it… WDTPRS mug of Mystic Monk Coffee!
LOL. I think the Monks should pray that my husband and I have several more children because I think we keep them in business during the first few weeks.
Good idea, Alice! Fr. Z…I didn’t read that until just now! That would have been so good. Actually, I have the coffee, but not the mugs. I should just go ahead and order some. Thanks, people, for the prayers. That was the nicest, social worker we have ever had. She was barely here and did not look in one nook or a cranny! Woohoo! Painless and social worker rarely go together! :o)
