While I appreciate the thought, if we forget to put our clocks back, we’ll actually be an hour early for Mass rather than late!
This makes me remember the clock change sunday ten years ago. I was alone in church practising the organ 1 1/4 h before Mass. Then, ten minutes later, two other ladies entered the church . They look around with some bewilderment. At ten they approached me and asked where everybody else were. Hehe. The fun thing was, that we all have the same christian name!

I hate daylight saving time. Always have. Always will.
Growing up in Michigan, I was exposed to county by county election for daylight savings or standard time. My county went DST; my grandparents’ county, immediately west of us, did not, usually. My grandparents were fruit farmers. The cannery set a fixed time for receipt of fruit each day, and if the fruit were picked too early, before the dew was off, then the weight would be discounted for water weight. So the election of DST meant to my grandparents a reduction of one hour in picking time.
I have seen studies which determined that the recent change to DST start and end actually increased energy consumption. As Harry Browne used to be fond of saying, no one ever lost money betting against the Federal government.
I am in full agreement with Dr. Edward Peters, and I am 77 yrs old.
Most people I know who play golf and/or tennis likes DST.
Government-mandated timetravel can’t possibly be legit.
You might be confusing Alaska with Arizona. Most of Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time, but we up here in Alaska will change our clocks next Sunday just like most of the rest of the country.
I think my parish’s bells thought DST had ended this week… the entrance sounding was at the end of Mass instead of the beginning!
