Thank you for this reminder, Father. It is so important. I never hear this in the churches anymore. And also, don’t forget, tomorrow is First Saturday – vitally important. Confession, communion, rosary and 15 minutes meditation. This is what our Lady asks of us to save the world.

And it’s my mother’s 75th birthday. That may not seem related to this post, but I was excited when I realized that her priest comes to bring her Holy Communion on First Fridays. That’s the best birthday gift of all! :o)

    Going to Mass tonight!

It’s my 44th Wedding Anniversary and I’m a priest of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham and I’m looking forward to my 17th Birthday next year!

I went to a EF Mass this morning and spent time before the Blessed Sacrament which was exposed afterwards.

Went to Noon Mass & confession today, specifically thanks to this post that drew it to my attention. Thanks Father!

BTW, my penance was to recite Psalm 50(51), and I had my Diurnale with me, so I did that and then privately prayed the DO in the pew.

  7. Patti Day says:

I didn’t forget, Father. We had about 20 in attendance today, a veritable crowd. The singing was especially beautiful with all the young voices.
