We came into LaGuardia from the south over Brooklyn and had some great views.
Earl left us great weather and clear air!

“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

Nice work getting the exit row!
Don’t forget to have your hosts take you to St. Peter’s, Barclay and Church. It’s closer to GZ than the proposed house of worship on Park Place; Park Pl. on #2 or #3, Fulton St. on #4, #5, Cortlandt St. on the R or E to World Trade Center.
Salutationes omnibus.
Glad you made it there safely, Fr.Z!
Beautiful pictures.
I remember such views flying into LaGuardia in 2002, when I attended a two-day ‘Gloria Congress’ sponsored by ‘Magnificat’ magazine.
I got rather choked up as the plane flew over Ground Zero-it was only a few days before the first anniversary of 09/11.
Nice pictures, Father Z!
Thank you for the great photo of Citifield. It made me homesick being a transplant Mets fan living hundreds of miles from New York.
